Pricing Adjustment Request - Turkish Market
Dear Proton Team,
Due to the severe inflation in Turkey, upgrading my account with Euro pricing is currently unaffordable.
I kindly request that you consider introducing Turkish Lira pricing for our market. This would significantly improve accessibility and allow more users in Turkey to subscribe to your valuable services.
Thank you for your prompt consideration.
Sincerely,
Erdem

Request from Turkey: Adding 3, 6, and 9-month subscription options
Dear Proton Team,
As a long-time Proton Mail user, I would first like to sincerely thank you for your commitment to privacy, end-to-end encryption, and continuous improvements. I truly appreciate the service you provide and regularly recommend Proton to my friends and colleagues.
However, due to the current economic conditions in Turkey — particularly the high inflation rate and the significant depreciation of the Turkish Lira — the annual subscription fee has become quite expensive for many users. At the moment, only monthly and yearly plans are available, which leads many potential users in Turkey to either stay on the free plan or not switch to Proton at all.
Therefore, I kindly request that you consider adding 3-month, 6-month, and 9-month subscription options to your pricing plans.
This change would bring clear benefits to Proton:Significantly increase paid user conversion rates in Turkey, a large and young market with high potential.
Offer more flexible options that better match users’ budgets, thereby improving long-term retention and loyalty.
Attract mid-term users who want to support Proton more than monthly but are not ready for a full annual commitment.
Expand Proton’s accessibility and user base in emerging markets. Many Turkish users, including myself, genuinely want to upgrade to a paid plan and support your mission, but the current options exceed our budgets. Introducing mid-term subscriptions would make the switch much more feasible and attractive.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could evaluate this suggestion and consider adding it to your roadmap. I am happy to provide any additional feedback, data, or participate in a survey if it helps.
Thank you for your time and for building such a valuable privacy-focused service. I hope Proton continues to grow and become more accessible to users worldwide.
