I want to add VPN to my Mail Plus account and take advantage of the end of summer sale
The end of summer sale is tempting but I already have products from other providers so I don't need the whole Unlimited offering. Besides which, after a year the price would escalate and I couldn't justify the expense. I want to add VPN to my existing Mail Plus account, preferably via the end of summer discount, but I can't find a way to do this. Why can't I have Mail Plus plus VPN? (I previously posted this on Reddit but I'm unable to view Proton's response for some reason)

Very good point.
I was very satisfied for my needs with Mail Plus but required a VPN that could do both specific geo-location (full range of Countries) for streaming services and P2P. However, as of November 2025, I wasn't able to buy VPN Plus that would go with my Mail Plus Plan and had to buy at considerable cost increase a VPN Plus package that incorporated Mail Unlimited, which the latter far exceeds my needs.
