Currently, Indian subscribers to Proton products pay for Proton plans in EUR, USD, or CHF. This requires mandatory currency conversion and foreign transaction fees, which increase the cost of every plan.

Request: Add INR as a directly supported currency at checkout, and integrate an Indian payment gateway supporting UPI, RuPay, and net banking etc.

Proton plans seem expensive to many Indian users and Proton's customer base in India is low. Local payment support could solve this.
