Don’t append HTML signatures when replying to plain text emails.
I have an HTML signature that includes linked text with a call to action, like, “Click here to see my work.” When relying to plain text messages, the signature is included but without the link. There should be an option for a plain text signature, or “Do not use in plain text.”

Proton Mail PGP and GPG encryption
Imagine users being able to choose email encryption types Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) and GNU Privacy Guard (GPG).

Auto-Reply Per Email Address
It would be great to be able to setup an auto replay per email address instead of account wide.
Use case: autoreply only from work address when out of office but not from personal address.
Thanks!

Patronizing updates
Proton just released a cosmetic update today in Mail without fixing Unread filter persistence. Nobody needed a new CSS theme. Please fix old bugs.

Lumo - Artifact or Canvas not being able to have a pop-up window or something where you can edit like you can in Claude makes it hard to engage with an edit with it

Background sync
Multiple Proton applications stand to improve my introducing background sync in more places.
Proton Calendar feels sluggish, often taking several seconds to create or update simple events. We welcome a local cache of calendar data, that periodically syncs with the cloud in the background. That way, the interface will feel much more fast and responsive.
Likewise, Proton Drive mobile apps have an artificial, obnoxious need to remain foregrounded during file transfers. Let's conduct transfers as background processes. This synchronous foregrounding aspect is cumbersome, particularly where large files ir many small files are involved. By contrast, the Proton Drive desktop applications…

Silent calendar notifications
Proton Calendar notifications are useless. No sounds. No haptics. It's way too easy to miss important events. Don't bother. Use Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, ANYTHING but Proton Calendar.

Opaque distribution of email addresses in Proton Duo plans
Thank you for this incredible work and these amazing products! I would just suggest to allow an opaque distribution of email addresses in Proton Duo. Actually, new email addresses have to be added through the administrator panel, he's the only one to be able to add email addresses. It could be useful to allow N addresses to an user of the plan, like for the storage and the VPN connections, with no possibility for the administrator to know what are the addresses used by each user.

Log in with QR code
I'm using Proton Pass for all logins. But to start using it on a new device I have to manually enter my Proton password there. It would be very nice to be able to scan a QR code by already logged in device instead.
Here is an example of this feature implemented: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/privacy/log-in-with-qr-code.html

Make it so all data in proton pass can be used for autofill in iOS.
It would be great if the proton pass app had the ability to autofill in iOS. Currently you cannot autofill anything other than passwords. I’d like to be able to autofill addresses and credit cards as well. Ideally each type of item saved in proton pass would be able to be used in autofill.

Encrypted Phone Calls
Just looking for a great company to create a way so my phone calls from my current number are all encrypted. Keeping the federal government from wiretapping the line. But it needs to be a stand alone, so I can still use it, without the other person needing to also have the app.

Mail: Bad dark mode UX for email signatures
Proton Mail corrupts my own signature when composing emails in dark mode. For no good reason, signatures draft as light mode blocks, in an otherwise entirely dark mode platform.

Real contact groups for the Family Plan
We have migrated with our family from Google Workspace to Proton and expected to have the contact group feature in the family plan like described in https://proton.me/support/groups.
So like we used to do with Google Groups where we could add family members to a group and assign one or more e-mail addresses to this group so everybody in this group recieves a copy and can send on behalf of this group address. For instance myfamily@mydomain.com.
Both https://proton.me/support/groups and https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/7695942-contact-groups mention this. The group feature in the Proton Family Plan is very limited right now so please add this…2 votes -
"That idea has been deleted" - censorship without cause
Why create a user forum only to censor its ideas?
If it's obscene or totally irrelevant: yes, clear the spam.
If it is a legitimate idea, don't wipe it: decline it with brief explanation. This is a shocking find that dishonors proton integrity.

Customized AI Ethics, taylored to the User
The current AI ethics is the standard CYA mode to protect proton from being sued. That is great for Proton, sorta, a waste of time for the rest of us, which lowers the value of Protons product. Having a private and encrypted AI session is meaningless if it isnt truly private, and not have Proton's lawyers looking over my shoulder.
I propose customized settings, complete with disclaimers and liability waivers if necessary. This will allow both side of the morality spectrum to be better served with this tool.
As it stands now, your tool is useless to a good percentage…
