Apple has removed E2EE from iCloud in the UK rather than implement a backdoor for the Investigative Powers Act (a.k.a. the snoopers' charter). A separate Proton Notes app or forging links with existing apps to enable sync through Proton Pass / Drive would plug this privacy hole.

Offline access: Ability to read and write letters without an Internet connection.

A Proton application equivalent to Evernote would be a killing new feature !

Really need an update on the timeline for this because Proton is sorely lacking a note taking option.

Would love to see a dedicated e2e encrypted notes/tasks app, like google Keep / Tasks!

It'd be incredibly if standard notes was fully adopted into proton notes, and brought up to standard with notion and the like. If it was even remotely close to notion with a real app i'd switch in an instance due to major privacy concerns.

having the docs facility in drive is nice, but I really want my notes unified in their own GUI/app to replace the apple notes app - I guess I really want a version of standard notes proton branded and included in my proton subscriptions.

If the plan is to be able to log into standard note with my proton login and go - then I'll be very happy i think. I just want it yesterday!
