Official F-droid Repository
Hello,
It would be nice to have an official F-droid repo for all protonapps.
This way all apps would easily stay up-to-date without using the google playstore (or the aurore store)
Thanx for considering!

Please have ProtonMail available in Amazon AppStore
Amazon Fire Tablet does not have Google Play natively. To install apk from other source generate more risk and there may be unknown usaibility issue. Install apk of other source would break warranty of Fire tablet as well.
As both Google Play and Amazon AppStore are based on Android, it is helpful if you put PotonMail to Amazon AppStore.
Thanks a ton.

The mobile app is currently available only on Apple's iOS and Google Play store. Some of us only use F-Droid because we want to support the FOSS community.
Protonmail, please consider making the app available on F-Droid!Thank you

Toujours pas décidés à publier ProtonMail pour F-Droid?
À quand la dé-Google-isation totale de ProtonMail?

Hi, I use e/OS/ to my cellphone, it hasn't google. It's a "degoogle" phone. Maybe take protonmail, protondrive, protoncalendar to the F-droid reposite. Protonvpn is available on f-droid at the moment.
Is it possible? -

I have semi short-term plans to go Google free with the help of LineageOS or GrapheneOS and it would be really nice to not have to use another 3rd party tool like MicroG to spoof Google play services. Fewer links in the chain makes for greater reliability.

so important for those trying to ensure their os, life, and mobile integration is not flagging to Google that they're trying to be private.

There is no security vulabilities. F-droid checks all apps before allowong them on F-droid as opposed to google play that doesn't. Protonvpn is already on F-droid so it doesn't make sense not to have protonmail on it. Helps people degoogle their phones.

This is THE ONLY THING preventing me from promoting ProtonMail/VPN to every single person I know. PLEASE enable this feature.
If you have problems with F-droid's security-model, AT LEAST put a APK directly on the website for download (together with corresponding signed hashes, but you know that already). Signal is doing this, and it is what enables me to use their software. -

if protonmail takes privacy seriously, the Google PlayStore is off-limits. I for one use LineageOS instead of spying Android.
I cannot understand that the APK is not offered on f-droid or for direct DL.
Please provide a DL-link! -

Tutanota added its app to F-Droid a few months ago, which has unfortunately given Tutanota an advantage over ProtonMail amongst my anti Google friends.

Yes. Please.

F-droid has some security issues (see discussions around the Signal project), though I think maybe it is not that bad.
In the meantime, even though it is not 100% satisfactory, you can always use the Aurora app as a non-google proxy to the play store
