I definitely need and would like to see a contact Database built in to proton suite

Hi Proton could you be clear and provide any kind of feedback whether this is something YOU will implement or not. It feels like this forum is disconnected from Protonmail. There is never ANY real feedback from Protonmail with user requests going unanswered for a long time. This leads to clear frustration in the community. Many people have voted for this feature, the Original post was 17 months ago.

I'm aware they are busy looking changes but there is a clear disconnect between this uservoice and the Proton roadmap. Could we add more structure to the votes, and a deadline for replying to votes please.

I would love to be able to switch from storing contacts with Google to storing contacts with Proton. This plus fully integrating Standard Notes will free me up to fully detach from Google aside from maintaining Gmail account to login to YT.

This application is essential, and the wait for it is starting to feel long.

Having a dedicated Contact App is essential to get rid of google environment.

Yes please. Right now I self-host with Baikal and that shouldn't be the case. This should be part of the Proton ecosystem.

Specifically synchronising my phone contacts to Proton, rather than Google, would be most welcome.

I am looking for a contact management app that is as robust as the one in Microsoft Outlook. Additionally, it should enable users to choose which information automatically syncs with the native contact apps on Android and iPhone devices.

One that repliacates Google contacts would be great. I am an Android user. I have to go into the ProtonMail App on phone, scroll down to contacts and select. A dedicated app would be great for the eco system. Maybe similar to proton pass but for contacts.

This is really a need. Also that the contacts can be used for the cellphone list to serve as a base to other communication with the phone!

If I'm not mistaken, earlier versions of Proton has a contact app, then I believe it was removed for some reason. I agree, we need full blown app (again?) with ability to manage all the typical attributes.

This may seem trivial - but for the desktop and the mobile app arena it would be important. If you could have Proton Specific apps that address core computing needs -- you can have an ecosystem that works across platforms. From a Linux perspective - you could have a defect Proton Desktop with Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive, Notes and Tasks all integrated and with a common UI/UX.

Looks like a ton of interest in this. It would add value to the serves we have, and i would be willing to pay a few dollars more for the addition. Anything that keeps my information out of the hands of goggle, Microsoft, and Apple is a plus.
