I use TickTick. I've tried many to-do apps, and TickTick outshines them all. I agree with Joseph Tyler that I'd rather pay Proton for an encrypted version. If Proton makes a to-do app that doesn't have the same functionality as TickTick, I'd probably use that new app for certain things but keep TickTick as my main, because it has everything I need from a notes & to-do app.

I miss that a lot.
It would be so important if there was a Proton Tasks. -

Can't commit to Proton without it

100% agree would love a reminders app.
Proton should buy Sorted3, I loved the concept it have going but it’s clearly been abandoned. -

Mozilla Thunderbird has a simple task list. It also has events/calendar, that I use rather than Proton Calendar (I haven't evaluated Proton Calendar much yet).

would like this with ability for a todolist to be pinned in my email inbox and editable on the go so I don't have to send myself little email reminders

Exactly! Make an encrypted "ticktick" basically. I pay 36 euros for ticktick a year and would happily pay more for proton unlimited if it had a similar to-do list.

A secure Todo / notes list that is accessible from everywhere is important to me. I wish Proton had one. I want to get away from Google and MS completely.

Make it separate app. Do not put it in calendar or mail.

I think even integrating this feature into the Standard Notes app would be good

I like Proton :p

would love to have it like the IOS reminders app and how it integrates with the calendar so well. Maybe we can have it as a sub-app like how proton authenticator is a part of proton pass

Yes, please. Tasks management (aka ToDo) is a critical missing component in the Proton ecosystem.

A simple wish - with an easy step - that makes a huge improvement in skipping US apps.

I find the MS To Do app good enough for my simple needs but don't like that it's an MS product with all the associated privacy concerns. Hence, I too would like a Proton To Do app. I prefer standalone apps rather than integrated like Mail + Calendar.

Google Tasks is very useful for managing shopping lists, vehicle maintenance dates, and many other things. It's the only Google feature I use that doesn't have an alternative at PROTON. And it doesn't seem very complicated to do.

Todoist is a very popular app for business and private. It would be highly recommended to include a function like Todoist into the Proton ecosystem. Same applies to Google Keep/Notes. We need a Proton notes app. Quick ideas and notes should be safe from spying.

This is a great idea.
I think a lot of Proton lovers and users would use Proton Calendar a lot more if there were some way to create and complete tasks built into Proton (or as a new app that is part of the Proton family but integrates with Calendar and Drive).
Additionally, this is a very great idea because as of right now, there is no way to connect an email from Proton Mail to an event in Calendar. Nor is there a good way to connect a Proton Drive file to an event in Calendar (you can use the description to copy and paste a link but it's kind of clunky).
With some kind of ToDo list app that is built into the Proton universe, you could fix all of those problems in one fell swoop. Connect an email right to a task that you schedule on the calendar to complete. And connect the file from Proton Drive right to the task so you have everything you need in that task (or event) in Proton Calendar.
