I’d love to see Standard Notes support single sign-on (SSO) via Proton accounts—just like SimpleLogin, which already integrates smoothly in the Proton ecosystem. As you probably know, SimpleLogin got SSO support quickly because it’s deeply tied to Proton Mail, while Standard Notes is treated more as a standalone product Since Proton acquired Standard Notes in April 2024, the infrastructure and trust are already there—community alignment, shared privacy values, and robust encryption. It feels overdue that users should be able to log into Standard Notes with their Proton credentials—time for that login button to appear!

I agree! It seems like this is on Standard Notes end, not protons. I think the reason SimpleLogin had a quicker integration was because it was directly tied to email. Standard notes is more so just a fully new product. The only " integration" is ProtonDocs. I think maybe one day they will have full login integration, but I also do not think it will be ANYTIME soon. My guess, in another 3-5 years, maybe.

It doesn't make sense to pay for an extremely expensive Standard Notes subscription and also for the Proton Suite, which can only be considered complete when it includes a notes and reminders service. I'm still using Apple Notes, but quite reluctantly.

I have proton unlimited and am looking for a replacement to apple notes. Would love to get standard notes included in my subscription, even if the price goes up. Also looking at Obsidian. Hoping Standard Notes will be made cheaper as an add on to Proton Unlimited. Waiting to see what happens here before spending money on a notes subscription.

I'm trying to leave big tech, and the proton suite promises a great alternative, but has been slow to follow through on those promises. Integrating with an existing notes app like this would be incredibly helpful! Please get it done!

Do Not break the ability to log in without using proton account!
I will not use proton password manager in its current form and strongbox works perfectly for me to open Standard Notes.

I do not want a single instance of Standard Notes across devices that I'm logged into ProtonVPN with.

So I'm fine with having proton account integration capability, but do not force that as the only option to unlock Standard Notes. I want it to remain independent 100% from the rest of my proton ecosystem.

Please integrate one of the Standard Notes subscription plans with Proton like was done with SimpleLogin. It would be great if Unlimited Proton subscribers could get the Professional Standard Notes subscription included!
