Make ProtonVPN a decentralized VPN (dVPN), Nym-style.
Hello
Today I read a super interesting article from Clubic on NymVPN (https://nym.com/):
https://www.clubic.com/avis-561987-avis-nymvpn-un-vpn-decentralise-qui-bouscule-les-standards-du-marche.html
To sum up, it's a collaborative VPN.
Short version:
Users pay Nym, in an untraceable way (see article).
They can also offer a VPN server to the Nym network.
Nym pays these users.
Long version:
1. NymVPN works without a central server: your connection is sent through several independent computers that mix and encrypt your data to prevent any correlation between you and your traffic.
The operators of these nodes deposit NYM tokens as collateral and receive tokens as a reward based on the quality and availability of their service.
Users can "share" their own tokens with the nodes they prefer, boosting their reputation and the strength of the node.
The more the network is used and efficient, the more operators are incentivised to maintain a fast and safe service, creating a virtuous circle for all.
It is the decentralized and emulatory aspect of this system that is the most interesting. ProtonVPN is expected to launch an alternative network, or even partner with Nym. Proton shouldn't eat NymVPN like Google, but ProtonVPN and NymVPN should merge, like SimpleLogin and ProtonPass.

A partnership could be interesting, the Nym team is doing an incredible job?
