We need Proton Translate, like DeepL or Google Translate – as stand-alone app or built in to Proton Docs and Proton Mail.

Are there other encrypted translators already available elsewhere?

    Good idea. Make Lumo usable as a layer on other apps (like Pass) for translations. AI will outcompete anything like Google Translate.

    Now that there's Lumo, you can use that to translate. I don't know how good it is for translations though
