This is sorely needed. In the Sea of AI offerings, all with diffrent models and APIs, would love to be able to use the one AI i already pay for and trust in applications that do the BYOM approach

Yes I use a 3rd party mysty.ai because of the notebook structure of chats to save and branch. I would like for an API to be able to use another front end or even home assistant.

Would very much love API access. Proton is trusted by users, and being able to offer secure AI assistance in various applications would be a huge benefit to our end-users. While I'd be happy to pay for access, it would be great if this was a feature default provided to Proton Business accounts

I very much need it. It'd like to have the possibility to connect different applications to Lumo, e. g. OnlyOffice, JetBrains Rider and everything else that is able to talk to 3rd party ai services.

Would love to use API for Home and other personal automations, like email reading.

The Lumo AI chatbot is exceptional in my opinion but hindered by the lack of ability to either parse an external secure document store and by the memory constraints within chat. An API would overcome these retstrictions.

I would very much like this for a Lumo VSCode extension (for use with Copilot) or for using Lumo with Home Assistant.

I joint other commentés, this feature is absolutely essential for instance to use through an IDE (e.g. continue extension for Vscode/codium)

Lumo would be perfect to be used with homeassistant!

I would also be very interested in API access to Lumo! I would use it with Home Assistant (they are adding a few AI-related feature right now)! I think this is a perfect use-case for a privacy respecting AI service like Lumo!

I really need a privacy focused ai for local agentic work. (Personal, not business)

This would be critical at least for the Lumo plus users

While most of my use is web chat, or support during web search, I won't subscribe to a service if it's not to fully replace my current service. I use API for some small traffic chatbots, RAG, or for Coders models. For me, no api == no go. The best I think is to include a bunch of free credit for the API.

This could vastly improve the usefulness of Lumo to private and business users; however, I'm not sure if it is compatible with Proton's commitment to privacy, particularly if this capability (inevitably) gets abused.
