That's a pretty important suggestion! Google and Apple know all about our notifications. They know which apps that send them, when they send them, read the content if they like. It's a pretty sensible topic and there should be a secure alternative.

I had a directory with about 1100 mails. About 50 of them were unread. There's no sensible way to only display these unread mails. Disappointing.

I installed Lumo through Aurora (3rd party app store that lets the user install apps from Google Play Store without Google account) only to realize that I _need_ to login into the Google Play Services just to run Lumo.
Why? The other Proton apps don't need that and Lumo also runs in a browser so it should be able to run without an active Google account on a phone.

Also those virtual keyboard apps submit user data. My hairs stand up when I think about that people type their password using these apps.
A Proton Keyboard would be nice especially if it tightly connects to Proton Pass.

I very much need it. It'd like to have the possibility to connect different applications to Lumo, e. g. OnlyOffice, JetBrains Rider and everything else that is able to talk to 3rd party ai services.

Unfortunately that ship has sailed. Even if you increase the maximum size per mail, most other mail services don't do that and refuse to receive them!
