  2. Add a one-stop 'Hub' for all mail and calendars

    My Proton products do not show up in the outdated mail app I use at the moment, Blackberry Hub for Android. Yet the concept is amazing - one inbox for all my mail and texts and messages, with a swipe-down access to the calendar. This enables me to turn almost all notifications off and simply check one master box to see notifications from Signal, work email, Teams, personal mail, social media, etc etc., and change views depending on whether I am at work or no. In addition, my calendars - work (MS Office), personal (Proton), and shared family (Apple atm)…

  3. Add IPv6 support and AAAA DNS records

    By all means continue supporting the legacy standard (IPv4) but please also support the current standard! This seems to be missing from every Proton service?

  4. An app to detect spam calls

    I'm sick of getting spam calls and I don't trust apps like TrueCaller or similar to detect and filter such calls. It would be great to have a Proton app to handle this problem.

  5. Personal Website Hosting From Proton

    Greetings...

    Unlike the other postings associated with this topic, I am interested in the ability to host a personal website from my proton account. I would be the only person accessing my personal website, which would be completely private, so the access activity would be very low.

    Unlike the other postings associated with this topic, the technical requirements of my personal website would be relatively basic - HTML5-compliant and support both CSS and JAVASCRIPT.

    While there are numerous third-party hosting options that would satisfy my above technical requirements, the privacy of my hosted information would be compromised by being in…

    WE NEED PROTON MAPS!! just make OSM but with a good interface so i can ditch Gmaps and make it easy to suggest edits that could atomaticly apply to the user suggesting it but would need to be approved for others to see it as well.That way the community can help it be better!!

    VoIP
    Please begin a VoIP hosting service. If ProtonMail had VoIP that I could use both on my computer and phone, then I would no longer have any use for Google and I could be done once and for all. Even though GVoice is free, it seems their active listening suggests stuff related to my texts and conversations across my devices and it is creepy. I would gladly pay for a service that doesn't do this. Pretty, pretty please! Thank you.

  8. Proton Pass To Do Lists; Reminders

    I think it would be excellent if you could expand Proton Pass to include reminders, in addition to the Notes functionality.

    I would love to be able to create 'to do' lists - with tasks I can check off - within Proton Pass, benefiting from the security and cross-device synchronisation Proton Pass provides. If this included functionality to be able to specify deadlines (with associated notifications), that would be even better.

  10. Protonmail for IOS: drag documents out of the app

    Hi it would be awesome if one could simply drag an attachment from an email to the desktop or anywhere rather than have to use the Download button. I never realized of great that was until i moved to Protonmail from apple mail which has this feature.

  11. Calendar date icon reflects actual date

    It would be nice to have the calendar icon, which seems to have ‘31’ as the permanent date in the bottom right hand corner, reflect the actual date. This would be helpful at a glance and hopefully a quick “win”.

  12. Reminders in emails

    Integrate reminders in emails. 1.) remind me later 2.) add to calendar? 3.) schedule this? 4.) add to contact’s for detected signatures or given business cards like photos. Allow import using some sort of (client side?) ocr and allow for import to contacts (add to existing/new contact).

    Calendar app with integrations of emails and todo/reminders.

  13. Proton Identity (SSO IdP)

    We already log into Proton's own products (including Simplelogin) by authenticating via our Proton accounts. It would be slick if the API for this was exposed, so others could use Proton as an identity provider for their own purposes. This is especially relevant for business users who want their teams on proton, to enable SSO access to other internal or 3rd party tools and platforms without having to look outside Proton, or for consumer-facing platforms that want to allow their users to log in with Proton instead of e.g. Google (blech).

    Since privacy is a universal right I propose to create a privacy oriented accessibility suite. An example OCR recognition and speech synthesis without tracking or other similar services.

  17. Universal Password for All Services and Separate Passwords for Each

    Right now, I can set a password for Proton and a separate password for my email. This is convenient because I often use a VPN, and a single password is not enough. However, I don’t want to grant access to my email just because I used a VPN somewhere. Other services don’t offer this option.

    I propose keeping the ability to use a universal Proton password but also allowing each service to have its own password.

    This is very useful because I also frequently use a VPN at work. I use a simple Proton password to log into the VPN…

  18. DRM enabled content to block Microsoft Recall on Windows

    With Recall poised to allow screenshots of emails to be stored, can Protonmail desktop client offer DRM protection on the viewing window (as apparently Recall will honor that), and - though I don't know how this could be done - enforce DRM on messages sent from Protonmail to stop the recipient inadvertently capturing information

    This should also apply to Instant Messages if Proton develop a chat appkication

  20. Proton Mobiler Messenger

    Ein mobiler Proton Messenger wäre m. E. eine gute Alternative zu anderen mobilen Messengern wie WhatsApp, Signal oder Signal, die offensichtlich mehr oder weniger Daten sammeln und so auch an Daten von Kontakten gelangen können. In welchem Umfang ist nicht wirklich klar.
    Dabei sollte ein Proton Messenger auch mit anderen Messengern kommunizieren können, wo der Proton Messenger bei der Nutzung automatisch Proton VPN aktiviert. Ich selbst vergesse schon mal das Proton VPN einzuschalten, womit diese Automatik sehr nützlich wäre.
