    As you know by now, LinkedIn is facing a class-action lawsuit in the US related to Unauthorized Data Sharing; Premium subscribers allege that LinkedIn secretly shared their private messages with third parties to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. This represents a clear violation of the Stored Communications Act (SCA), California's Unfair Competition Law (UCL), and is a significant breach of contract.

    While LinkedIn has acknowledged this, and in response updated their privacy policy to give users more control over how their data are used for AI training, its an illegal breach of trust and may potentially expose users to privacy…

  6. I have been a proton mail user for a fair time now and ask you to investigate (and then recommend) Spoutible as a social media platform.

    I am a Spoutible usser as my social media platfrom.
    I found Mastodon's moderation to be idiosynchratic.
    Spoutible is created by a black American, Christopher Bouzy, who also invented BotSentinel (iirc).
    It is a LGBTQ / Black etc friendly site which has very clearly articulated rules and is super prompt in dealing with bots.
    I commend it to you.

  8. automatic mail forwarder to any other application/messenger like whatsapp, threema, telegram, signal, etc.

    actually you can set and define rules to forward mails to another email by set some conditions. the receiver always must be another email-address.

    in some cases it would be very helpful to forward certain emails to a third party app, f.e. other messengers like whatsapp, threema, telegram, signal, etc.

    Don’t ask potential candidates for your job postings to “Connect on LinkedIn”. LinkedIn is not trustworthy. It is the equivalent of Facebook for job hunters with candidate information shared widely. It is a known trove of information used for social engineering. Thank you.

  14. Integrate with Orion browser

    Please integrate with Orion browser by kagi directly. They also focus on privacy and big tech alternative. Their browser is safari based so much better than chrome, brave or firefox for apple users. It would be great if they could integrate your products and use proton pass instead of cloud keychain, there naturally and therefore more possibilities than just as an extension.

  15. Proton integration to Ripple “panic button”

    I think that it would be a privacy improve to have a "panic button" for the Proton Apps on mobile phone like Signal or F-Droid have via the Ripple app from Guardian Project (https://guardianproject.info/apps/info.guardianproject.ripple/). With this you would just activate the Ripple “panic button" on their app and the Proton apps that you selected would desapeare from your launcher, but they would be restored whenever you type an special code to the fake Calculator app.

  20. add reply-to option

    In all other mail programs adding a reply to header to your outgoing mails is quite standard, which brings me to the question why is it inpossible to set one in Proton? Sales has told me Proton has no intention to implement it at all, I would like to know why. Instead they suggest that I set a forwarder, but that is not what I asked for.
