.heic
Hi,
I hope you are having a blessed day. Recently ran into a conversion issue for heic. I know a lot of customers use iphone's and based on the transfer of pictures it would be amazing if you added support to preview heic within your own amazing email product. This would save a lot of time (maybe even the ability to convert to jpeg when it notices a attachment).290 votes -

Agentic integrations(I know, just take a read)
AI is tricky when it comes to privacy. Privacy is why I(and others reading this) use proton and integrations didn't make sense(for personal use) until lately. Recently open-source agents have been increasingly competitive as far AI capabilities go. Local models have also progressed to the point that they are actually useful. Its gotten to the point were AI is starting to improve my life and allow me to focus on what I pride myself in doing and in a way outsourcing the trivial chores. I am not able to do that with Proton products though. From businesses this is a…

Develope a Linux based Proton OS.
Subject: Proton Should Consider a Linux-Based OS for Better Protection
Dear Proton Team,
As a paid subscriber for five years, I believe Proton should consider developing a Linux-based operating system. This step would ensure that paid users are better protected by extending your security standards from the applications down to the operating system itself, eliminating vulnerabilities inherent in mainstream platforms.
Sincerely,
A 5-Year Paid Subscriber

Migrating UserVoice to Quackback
I love that Proton get the community involved for new feature requests but everytime I come here it feels cluttered and filled with duplicates.
New platforms handle duplicates better and Quackback even has a migration tool!2 votes -

Add better filter/sort for Inbox in Proton Mail
While filters allow you to set up rules for moving emails to other folders, I find when I do that I often miss important emails because I watch my inbox but don't have time to regularly go through every folder. When it's time to clean out my inbox (currently have 357 unread messages), it's nice to go through them by sender. I can sort by the size of the email or the receipt date, but not by sender. I can type in a filter at the top, but I have to remember to check "Inbox" or it shows me everything.…

Allow keyboard shortcuts to function when the arrow is over the message in the list
Hovering the cursor over a message in the list and pressing the desired shortcut greatly speeds up message management. It's much better than having to select every message before taking action.
If possible, please implement this feature.

Implement Lumo Sidebar in Docs/Sheets (On-Demand Local Decryption) & Launch Proton Slides
Feature Request:
Integrate Proton Lumo as an active sidebar inside Proton Docs and Sheets using the same secure architecture already utilized for Lumo document uploads. Additionally, expand the workspace ecosystem by launching "Proton Slides" with the same integrated AI capabilities. How the Lumo Integration Should Work (Maintaining E2EE):
Zero-Knowledge Architecture: The AI does not read the document in real-time. Instead, the document remains locally decrypted inside the user's browser/app session.
On-Demand Processing: Only when the user explicitly triggers an action in the Lumo sidebar (e.g., clicking "Analyze this document" or "Generate summary"), the locally decrypted text is sent via the…

An immersive simulator game to test our passwords, recovery phrases, 2FA, and other account recovery methods.
It's very common to forget our passwords, with a high chance of never recovering our accounts. I've never lost mine yet, but to help us memorize them, I propose:
In this immersive game, you are locked in a room. Throughout the game, you use your passwords and recovery phrases to escape the room, and of course, everything would be encrypted to use your passwords and phrases.

Proton PGP Keys signing & verifying all *nix/Windows/Android/iPhone apps. I think users should be able to verify their download.
Many other applications are signed and verified by their makers. Proton should have PGP keys referenced on their website, that sign and verify the applications for download are legitimate and verifiably Proton Products. Think Veracrypt/TAILS/Linux Mint. All those those OSes & software have PGP keys that you can check, in order to make sure what you're downloading is from who it says its from. If I'm using PGP keys within Proton to sign my email for this same purpose; I think Proton should also use these same keys to verify/sign its own products.
Thanks.

Proton RCS Phone Carrier Messaging Service
RCS is an "upgrade" to SMS/MMS messaging with read receipts, typing indicators, the ability to send larger files, and encryption. Proton can implement end-to-end encryption for this service, similar to many others. No other company could pull off a service like this like Proton could.
I'd also love to see a feature that allows users to sync their messages to their desktop, similar to Google Messages.

Proton Drive Photo Management
If there was also a way I could import photos from files uploaded to the photo section of drive from already existing directories within proton drive, that would also be very helpful. You guys are doing great!

A Proton-made e2ee Notion-like application that integrates well with Lumo and other Proton products (calendar, email)
I enjoy using Proton's products and would be interested in a second-brain application that works well with other Proton products. Something students, hobbyists, and companies could use to store their ideas, create databases, and compile images/videos. It could be included in the already existing Proton-subscription or as a standalone product.

Family plan with just email and calendar
More cost effective family plan, I only want email and calendars for 4 family members, the other apps could be an add-on for an additional fee.
At the moment Tuta is half the price for my family: €12 (4 x €3) vs €23,99. I know I get 6 accounts and a lot more features with Proton, but it is no added value for me.

Keyboard shortcuts in Proton Sheets
Hello, Proton Team,
I know the keyboard shortcuts is a thing that Proton Docs already has, I believe this would be a great idea to have in Proton Sheets too, simply because it rises user's productivity, or says working speed.
And... if possible, I personally prefer Microsoft Excel's design. But maybe there are some more people prefer other services' design. I'm not sure. Maybe this could be discussing more or held a poll ? Anyway, even if don't take any reference from the existed app, it will be fine still, as long as the shortcut design is user-friendly.
Sincerely,
