1. Client login only

   Make it so a password can be set in proton pass desktop and mobile apps. This will re-encrypt the vault and only allow you to sign in using the proton pass desktop and mobile apps. This is to avoid having to trust that the website has not been compromised.

2. Automatic authenticator integrated into Proton Pass.

   It would be amazing if Proton Pass implemented 2FA auto-completion on created accounts, saving time by eliminating the need to copy and paste the authenticator code from one account to another. Therefore, I believe integrating the Advanced Authenticator into linked accounts would be feasible.

4. Select Generating a New Password

   Currently when using the browser extension to fill passwords, the extension doesn't always recognize when I need to use the saved password or create a new one. It will auto-fill a new password unnecessarily with no option to use the saved password. I would prefer to have the saved password auto-fill and select whether or not I need to generate a new password. Then update the existing login if a new password was generated.

5. Keep awake on mobile

   Proton pass & Authenticator should have an option to keep the screen awake when displaying info fields like the codes in Authenticator and the passwords in Pass. It’d be a convenient time save to not have to tap the screen while inputting a long password

6. Add option for multiple passwords per item including autogeneration

   Currently, Proton Pass allows you to store only one password per item. The ability to add multiple passwords to a single item, is not supported at this time. This should be enhanced. Automatic password generation should also be available for those additional passwords.

7. Limit Secure Link Info

   Currently, when you create a Secure Link, the receiver can see all info, including notes (that might contain recovery codes etc). I would like to see a change where you either:

   A, Manually select which parts you want to be included in the Secure Link (e.g., email, password, Notes, etc, where the default is None, and the link can't be generated without selecting at least one item.)

   B, Add an additional text box called "Secrets" or similar that does NOT show up in a Secure Link (Unless specifically prompted to) that you can put for example recovery codes into, as when you put these in Notes, they are seen by the receiver.

8. Custom Additional Fields for Login Items

   Hello Proton Pass Team,

   I would like to request the ability to add additional fields to login entries.

   Currently, login items primarily include:

   1.Email/Username
   2.Password

   Some websites require a phone number in addition to the username/email and password for login. It would be helpful if users could add extra fields, such as:

   1.Email/Username
   2.Password
   3.Phone Number (or anything else user needs)
   4.Membership ID

   Ideally, users could also create other custom fields when needed.

   This would allow all login-related information to be stored in a structured way within a single login entry, rather than relying on notes.

9. Account Management/Ease of Access (Deletion & Change Password)

   It would be amazing if in Proton Pass had a section where it guides you on how to delete your account on said site (this can check the Website listed or the Title), when clicking on it, it could either redirect you to the actual page where you can delete said account or just a guide (ex: JustDeleteMe), and another section for a similar function but for password changing, would also be cool to see some sort of automation so within a click of a button either proton pass will manage the account deletion to a degree (most deletion requires email confirmation so that part would still be manual) or an automation for quickly changing passwords (which is amazing to have for new password manager users as they most likely have been re-using the same password for every site; makes it a lot easier for them).

10. Disable password reset by email for entreprise managed accounts

    Each user in entreprise managed accounts can ask to reset it's password by mail.
    This is not secure and should be disabled.

11. PIN for a second trusted user to unlock a seperate list of credentials

    Hopefully I'm able to convey the idea: My wife and I use a shared vault, which works perfectly. However, sometimes I do maintenance on her laptop and need certain login credentials. Every time I need to log in somewhere, she has to unlock Proton Pass – which, of course, gives me access to everything.

    So for me – and probably for others in a similar situation – this is a bit of a hassle. It would be great if we could set up a second PIN or biometrics that unlocks only a specific vault, or perhaps pre-set credentials separate from the main vault, tied exclusively to this second PIN (or a «trusted user» – which would be me in this case). It would be up to her to decide what to share; right now, she essentially has to share everything whenever I need credentials on the spot. Of course, having a second user doesn't really make sense if everything is shared anyway. But if only a specific collection of credentials were shared, it would be much more convenient when I'm doing maintenance on her machine.

    I'd love to hear Proton's and the community's feedback on this. Maybe I'm alone with this – or maybe there's a whole crowd facing the same inconvenience.

12. auto copy to clipboard after newly created alias[Proton Pass for Safari in MacOS]

    Please offer the same option in the Proton Pass Safari extension on the MacOS like how it is in iOS. Let us turn on a setting that allows the newly created alias to be auto-copied to the clipboard so that we may save an extra step and just paste it directly into a website we are currently on.

13. Auto-Lock Timers for Fill vs. View/Copy/Edit actions

    Hi Proton Team,

    Consider a user who has both a PIN/secondary password and auto-lock enabled for maximum security. The current workflow is often disruptive, as it forces re-authentication for every login attempt. This creates a dilemma: either the auto-lock timer is set too short, causing frequent interruptions for simple logins, or it is set too long, leaving the vault accessible longer than desired.

    To resolve this, I propose adding a separate auto-lock timer specifically for credential filling as a new option in the settings.

    Currently, a single timer governs both viewing/copying/editing and auto-filling. I suggest splitting this logic:

    Fill Timer: The user can set a longer duration (or indefinite) since the risk is much lower.
    View/Copy/Edit Timer: The user can set a shorter duration (or instant lock) since the vault itself requires much more security.
    

    Setting a longer timer for filling would give away a little security for a lot of convenience. Each user could set their timers based on their own risk tolerance.

    This approach eliminates the disruption of frequent re-authentication for logins while strictly protecting data visibility and configuration changes. It allows for a seamless login experience without compromising the security of the vault itself.

14. Allow Proton Pass to change Alias Prefix defaults

    Since I have imported my Vault from Bitwarden, all of the Credential Names in my vault have ".com" at the end.
    When creating an Alias through Proton Pass, the Prefix defaults to the Whole Name of the Credential, not the Domain.
    As a result, the following Alias will be formatted like:
    "google.com.abc123@simplelogin.com"
    instead of:
    "google.abc123@simplelogin.com"

    Because of this, there are many websites that will refuse to accept these Aliases due to its format.
    There is no way of changing the Default Prefix in Proton Pass, so every time I have to create an Alias, I have to manually edit it each Alias through Advanced Options.

    With that being said, please consider adding in an option to change the Prefix Defaults when creating Aliases, I'd rather not go though my 800+ Item Vault and remove ".com" from each and every one manually.

    As a supporter of Proton's mission, I would like to suggest making Lifetime plans more accessible and flexible for a wider range of users.

    1. Revisit Lifetime plan pricing

    While the current $199 Lifetime discount is appreciated, the overall cost remains quite high for many international users. With the US dollar continuing to strengthen against several currencies, the effective cost has become even higher over time. Regional pricing or additional discounts could make Lifetime plans more attainable for users around the world.

    1. Introduce a Proton Family Lifetime plan

    Many users have successfully adopted Proton across their entire household. A Lifetime Family option would provide an attractive alternative to recurring subscriptions and allow families to make a long-term commitment to the Proton ecosystem through a one-time purchase.

    Why this could benefit both users and Proton

    There is proven demand for lifetime licensing in the privacy and productivity space. For example:

    • Enpass offers a Lifetime plan for approximately ₹10,000.
    • pCloud offers Lifetime plans starting at around ₹14,000 depending on the storage tier.

    These products show that many users are willing to make a larger upfront investment in exchange for long-term value and freedom from recurring payments.

    Expanding Proton's Lifetime offerings could help attract new users, strengthen customer loyalty, and generate upfront revenue while remaining aligned with Proton's mission of building sustainable privacy-focused services.

16. Improve the Hidden Vaults feature to include "Secret Vaults" that are PIN/Password-protected

    It would be great if the Organize Vaults - Hidden vaults feature in the mobile apps could be improve to allow more user security. For example, it could show normal vaults that have been hidden and also ask the user to input a pin or password to show vaults that "secret" hidden vaults. This could be interesting for certain scenarios where the user might be compelled to show their vault to a third-party.

17. Improve "Copied to clipboard" pop up warning

    Currently, when clicking the Email or Password field, the desktop app shows a pop up warning alerting the user has copied data from the vault i.e.,: "Copied to clipboard (expires in X seconds)". However, this behavior is not consistent as copying parts of a note for example does not trigger this warning. Please make the pop warning show up any time something is copied. Ideally, this warning would also appear in the iOS and Android app.

18. Improve copying of fields in the vault

    Allow users to either copy any item (e.g., email, username, password, Websites, custom fields) associated with an entry via a) click to copy as currently implemented or b) clicking a small copy icon next to each field. At the moment, the desktop app does not allow copying certain fields such as URLs, which makes usability difficult for multiple browser setups.

19. Enable Proton Pass Passwordless login with security key (PRF/WebAuthn)

    Please allow users to login into Proton Pass via passwordless login with the option of vault decryption using the WebAuthn PRF (Pseudo-Random Function) extension. Essentially, it would be amazing if full passwordless login could be achieved, similar to some of the competitors out there. This would have very obvious security benefits.

20. Allow renaming uploaded files (images/pdfs..)

    Sometimes I upload a snapshot of a document from my phone "IMG_3001.jpg". It would be nice if I could rename it later in proton pass, without having to download it, rename it, then upload it again.
