  1. Fully Customizable Proton Pass Entries

Proton Pass stores more than logins — Notes, Credit Cards, Identities, Custom Items, and more. But no matter the item type, every entry comes pre-loaded with default fields you can't remove and an order you can't change.

The ask, across ALL item types:

    1. Removable defaults — any built-in field can be deleted (or auto-hides when left blank). If an Identity item doesn't need a middle name, or a Custom Item doesn't need a Note, it shouldn't sit there empty forever.
    2. Drag-to-reorder — arrange every field, default and custom alike, in whatever order fits the item.

    The current "workaround" for reordering…

  2. Add Arrow-Key Navigation to the Proton Pass Autofill Menu

Please also add full keyboard navigation to the inline autofill popup. When multiple logins are displayed, users should be able to move through them with the Up and Down arrow keys and select one with Enter, without using the mouse.

  3. Pass Sort/Sub-Domain sort

It would be good to have the ability to sort easier like domain:mail.google.com or domain:subdomain.domain.tld thus goes into my next suggestion. Have the autofill prompt automatically detect the subdomain so for instance like my self I run my own services at home so I have SUBDOMAIN.mydomain.sh and a bunch of saved passwords so I have to scroll to find the one for that subdomain.

  4. More auto type options or make customizable.

For instance, allow for just "Type" with no "enter" or "Tab". Also, stop minimizing the screen after it's invoked, or make it configurable; it's annoying.

  6. Nostr Signing Functionality

Nostr is growing and there are numerous competing apps or extensions to manage keys and signing requests, but this creates extra friction and confusion for end users.

It would be extremely convenient if this functionality was included in Protonpass, to allow securely storing your nsec keys and signing requests (like the Ditto extension, for example).

You can of course save your keys currently as passwords or notes, but it would be very nice if it Protonpass could recognize nsec fields and signature requests and manage them seamlessly across devices, which would become a cutting-edge feature that most other password managers…

  7. You could put Authenticator on Linux (deb) into internet-menu and not into accessoires

You could put Authenticator on Linux (deb) into internet-menu and not into accessories. (Xfce environment). Maybe you want to create several versions for different menus.

  8. Go to page, autofill and submit

    Goal
Have an easy option to login to a page, where I do not know the url out of my head. So klick on login123 leads to a new tab, loads the url, wait for page to load, autofill name and pw and click the submit button

The data should be mostly already there except the "submit" button. Similar behaviour has roboform.com (where I want to move away from).
First step perhaps without the submit.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Ralf

  9. Decouple Aliases from Vaults — Create a Dedicated Alias Directory within Pass

The alias feature is genuinely useful. Being able to generate an alias directly inside Pass and instantly tie it to a login is one of the strongest privacy workflows in any password manager. Full credit for that.

The problem: ALIASES DON'T BELONG IN VAULTS

Currently, each alias is stored as a standalone vault item. When you then create a login using that alias, a second item appears — same service, two entries. This creates two structural problems:

    1. CLUTTER: Vaults become noisy fast. Users with many aliases effectively have a doubled item count, making search, review, and sharing more cumbersome. The…

  10. Samsung Wallet Import

Now that Samsung has decided the wallet app is the password keeper, please make a way to import/integrate this data. There are multiple posts that are up to a year old asking for this for Samsung Pass. I am a new customer importing from all of my apps to consolidate and this is one that should be on the list, since there seems to be a way to do it with apple products.

  11. Allow easily reusing aliases instead of only proposing creating a new one

When creating a new login, proton Pass suggests creating a new alias.

Yet this is not convenient because I mostly want to reuse an old alias instead of endlessly creating a new one.

    • For pro users (which I am) : aliases should be better integrated into a login instead of being fully separate, while easily allowing to reuse the same email

    • For free users, as they only have 10 aliases it should be easier to reuse one instead of ever proposing to create a new one.

Especially as I often want to rapidly create an account for a service I…

  12. Allow not choosing Proton as the default mail

Presently when creating a login, there is only the option to use my Proton mail email rapidly.

Please allow to manually complete the drop-down with my other personal email address.

This will be much more convenient than manually typing my personal non Proton email whenever I prefer not to use the Proton address

  13. Human verification option using audio instead of photo challenge

I'd like it if Proton would make a version of the Captcha-style verification or human verification that allows the use of audio instead of only the image challenge. I have had a concern that the images would eventually include photos of women with immodest clothing. Blocking images by default because of the very immodest ads online today is a good strategy but if that has to be switched off to do a human verification, then the shield is down. I haven't had any concerns about the images Proton or whatever verification company has been using. But the risk seems to…

  16. Custom Alias Suffix Support (Free Tier)

Add support for a personal alias suffix tied to the username (e.g., xxxx@<user choosen word>.passmail.net), available on the free tier — similar to Addy.io's @username.anonaddy.com model. This would make aliases more recognizable without requiring a full custom domain, which could remain a paid-tier feature.

  17. Allow users to unsync SimpleLogin aliases from Proton Pass

Once you sync your SimpleLogin aliases with Proton Pass, there's currently no way to reverse or unsync them.

It would be great to have an option to disconnect or unsync SimpleLogin aliases from Proton Pass if previously you have sync them. Users should have full control over whether they want their aliases integrated or kept separate.

Being able to sync is useful, but there should also be an easy way to undo that decision if someone's preferences change later.

  18. Use Proton Pass from the macOS menubar

At present, the Proton Pass icon in the macOS menu bar is only able to open or quit the application. I would like to have the possibility to have a window open where I can find or create new items, just like the browser extension, without opening the entire application.

  19. Ability to manually adjust login details

When the program does not find matching login credentials, it should allow you to select any manually and automatically add the URL to the selected entry.

  20. Ability to edit login details while filling out

When changing login details on a website, it would be useful to be able to edit the entry selected for login.

In Bitwarden there is an option where when I click on the login or password field, the window shows proposed entries and the option to open the entire database and from there I can select the appropriate entry and edit it.
This allows you to change your email, login, or password without having to switch to the Proton app, manual search, and editing separately.
