Edit entries in Android app
Currently the Android app does not allow for editing the entries. I can only drag and drop the entries to change their order.
I would like to adjust at least the title and issuer.

Resizable sidebar
It would be useful to resize the sidebar because the names of the vaults are truncated. Furthermore, with the shared icon, there is even less space.

What’s the best way to ensure a seamless and precise OST to PST conversion in 2025?
Converting OST files to PST format is far more efficient and secure when using third-party software, rather than relying on the manual method, which can be time-consuming and prone to data loss. With so many conversion tools available, it's important to choose one based on performance, reliability, and user feedback.
One highly recommended option is the GoldyTools OST to PST Converter. This powerful tool allows you to convert large or multiple OST files to PST format in just a few simple steps—no technical expertise required. It’s designed for ease of use and is fully compatible with all versions of Windows…

apple watch complication
It would be great if Proton Auth could be integrated as Apple Watch complication. This would allow me to choose at least 2 different OTP displayed as a button (=2 buttons) reachable from 1 touch on the main screen of my watch. Cherry on top: button before to be touched display name or icon, but not the actual number. (Pss: 1password did it ;-p )

Export Proton Authenticator TOTP to Proton Pass TOTP
You can currently export TOTP from Proton Pass to Proton Authenticator. It would be nice to export TOTP from Proton Authenticator to Proton Pass.

Proton pass and passkey sign in
I'm using proton pass for all my credentials and have the android app installed on my Pixel 8. Some sites allow you to sign in using passkeys, even if you don't have an account on the site. (for instance https://nnsc.tf -> Register). So when I choose "continue with a passkey" on the site, Firefox shows a list of options, Pixel 8 Pro, qrcode and security key. When I select Pixel 8 Pro, a notification is sent to my phone and I'm asked to connect the device. After doing that, Android complains that there is no passkeys. When i google this…

TOTP View in Proton Pass
Currently, Proton Pass does not have a special view for time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs), a function that exists in Proton Authenticator. In my opinion, a similar TOTP view in Proton Pass would be desirable to get the 2FA codes quickly and easily.

Ability to choose vault when creating a new item
When creating a new login entry in Proton Pass, there is currently no option to directly select the target vault. The entry is always created in the active/default vault, and if it belongs elsewhere, I need to move it manually afterward.
It would be much more convenient and efficient if Proton Pass allowed choosing the vault at the moment of creating a new login entry. This reduces mistakes and saves time, especially for users who work with multiple vaults.

Show password in large type
Please add a feature to display the password in large characters, each numbered, with the ability to copy individual characters from any index, just like 1Password's 'show password in large type' function.

Improve favicon / website icon fetching for entries
When adding a website to an entry, Proton tries to fetch the favicon and display it as the entry icon. However, this does not always work — in many cases no icon is shown, even though the website clearly has a favicon or app icon.
It would be great if the favicon fetching could be improved, for example by:
• Supporting more common favicon locations and file types (e.g. PNG, SVG, app-icons).
• Falling back to higher resolution icons where available.
• Ensuring consistent results across websites. This would make entries more visually recognizable and improve usability, especially when managing…

Allow direct signalling of URL where autofill fails
Autofill still does not work on many websites (App Store Connect or a Wordpress installation with 2FA being just some of them). In this case, it would be great if the browser extensions had a simple button to send the URL to Proton so that they could work on that website. I have not found a simple way to flag a given URL, other than opening and filling in a full-fledged support form. The browser extension feature would make it way easier for users to draw Proton's attention to the most needed login forms that need fixing.

Extend custom fields to include existing field types
Currently, the available custom field types are quite limited (text, TOTP, secret, date).
I would like to see Proton extend the range of custom fields to include field types that are already supported elsewhere in entries, such as:
• Website / URL
• Password (which seems to be treated differently from a generic “secret” field)This would make custom fields more consistent, flexible, and aligned with how Proton already handles structured data. It would also allow users to better adapt entries to their specific needs without losing the benefits of type-specific handling (e.g. clickable links for websites, password-specific features like…

Add “Secret Notes” field type
The existing notes field is useful, but sometimes sensitive information should not be displayed in plain text.
I would like Proton to introduce a “Secret Notes” field type, where content is hidden by default (similar to how passwords are handled).
Example use case: Storing 2FA recovery codes.
Currently, each code would require a separate “secret” single-line field, which is cumbersome. With secret notes, multiple codes (or other sensitive information) could be stored securely in one hidden, structured field.
This would improve usability and security, while keeping entries more organized.

Option to hide username/emailadress in overview
In the overview, you can also see the username or e-mail address under each title.
An option to hide them there would be very handy.
If a stranger were to look over your shoulder on the train, for example, he wouldn't even be able to see the email address.3 votes
