Bitdefender import
The ability to import passwords from the Bitdefender password manager would be excellent!

If you have a file in json format from bitdefender like me, just write to ChatGPT what you need to do and give it a couple of lines from the json file so that it understands what fields you have, then it will make you a python script with which you can easily convert the json file into the desired Generic CSV for Proton

Import works only through a generic CSV file from Proton. Before importing delete the comment and sample. Proton Pass is not ready for production.

I would like to be able to import my passwords from Bitdefender Password Manager - Accounts, Notes & Credit Cards.
The whole point of having a password manager is NOT to add to Chrome first.

I have deeply regretted purchasing Bitdefender. Its awful. The Password manager is the pits. I cannot understand why Proton would overlook a mainstream company. Maybe Proton and Bitdefender are working in partnership and its not in Protons interest to sort this issue out? Until this issue is sorted out it just leaves it to people like me to guess, Rumor, and procrastinate about this

You can do this easily enough. Export your password data from Bitdefender in CSV format. In Proton Pass, download the generic CSV template.
Open the two CSV files in Excel. Delete columns from the exported Bitdefender CSV file until you have only the four columns required in the generic CSV file. Copy all the data over into the generic file, and import that into Proton Pass. It worked perfectly me for.

Its a clunky and suboptimal work around but for the time being every time I log into a service with Bitdefender, I have proton pass autosaving the login data. Saves manually inputting it all at least.
