Additional vault item types
Since I'm honestly too lazy to create multiple ideas I'll just post them as one, sonce they all are just different types or options of item types which should definitely be usable in proton pass, apart from log-ins, notes and the three other options:
1. Item types:
• Bank account
○ Bank name
○ IBAN
○ BIC
○ PIN
• Passkeys
• Identity incl.
○ Name
○ Surname
○ Middle name
○ Initial
○ Short name
○ Instagram name
○ Gender
○ Title
○ Birth date
○ Birth place
○ State
○ Company
○ Phone
○ Mobile phone
○ Address
○ Job title
• E-Mail addresses incl. application passwords
• Companies
• Wifi/Router data
• ID Card
• File upload (e.g. for tax certificates)
• Tax Number
• Tax ID
• Driver licence
2. Options for every Login item:
• Groups (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Tags (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Subdomain on/off switch (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Multiple log ins (Usernames and E-Mail) (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
3. Options under every item type:
• Custom fields with individually pickable custom names (Example: Field name: testfield, Value: test)
○ Text
○ URL
○ Date
○ Address
○ One Time Password
○ 2FA Backup
○ PIN
○ Application Password
Custom sections to divide the custom fields

As someone coming from 1Password, this is the feature I miss most. It worked very flawlessly just automating the login process through a social provider. Would love to see this in Proton Pass.

Maybe form autofill should be initiated by user (ideally using single click of the mouse), not done automatically upon loading ANY webpage that has a webform, due to claimed possibility of malicious Javascript capture autofilled data, says Robb Braxman: https://youtu.be/spSdUSgAkKg?si=Ly2rEl5A681josoF&t=401

I use this a lot in 1Password to get notified when a passport or visa is getting close to expire etc

I too would love to see a set of new Password/Secret types added. Coming from 1Password there are Identities, API Credentials, Software License Types, Drivers License, SSN, etc. That I find to be very handy in classifying my information.

I'd very much like to see this too. I work with audio and the amount of serials and keys used for audio plugins can get rather extensive. Keeping them safe in a solution like Proton Pass would be great.

Hello, I wish Proton Pass would support Payment methods as a feature.
I switched from Dashlane which supports that feature.
Ideas for supported payment methods:
- Credit cards
- Bank Accounts (IBAN, BIC, etc.) -

Agree, ability to create notes as "generic" item with custom fields, as we have them in login item would be amazing. It can really simplify transferring of entities like passports, Wi-Fi and API credentials and others from 1password, because then you can replicate necessary structure. If those items would be imported as notes with custom fields - that would be even better, but personally I am fine with manually transferring them, because I do not have a lot of those.
In the same sense, I think having custom fields for cards would be good too. Probably a rare thing, but I had some notes for cards in 1password that were split into several fields, and in ProtonPass I needed to concatenate them into "Note" field. -

For those instances where Proton Pass does not offer a selection in the User Name or Password field on the actual web page itself, I would like to open the Proton Pass in the toolbar, manually type in the site, and click "Autofill" to have the user name and password auto-fill on the web site (Page) where I perform this function.

I would just add on to this to say more flexibility - for instance, I can enter my credit card as a "credit card" but then I can't even put in a login, so now I need a separate file for my "credit card" info, and my credit card login. That's a hassle, and I like the credit card template so I prefer to use it if I could add the additional info.
It would also be nice to have the ability to add an image if this didn't cause too much data bloat.

There is already an option for adding cards, but what about the rest of the information from my bank? Nothing. It would be great to be able to save bank accounts with their information.
Also, adding other type of cards like ID cards or driving licenses would be very useful.

Confirm, this feature is really important to me as well. In addition I'd go one more step and let us to attach small files as some software needs for example .reg files to make the license works properly.
Not only for Mac users. Windows users need the feature to.

Please consider implementing auto fill of credit card information into forms. Chrome's vault supports this, so we are now lacking the feature after migrating.
Love the product so far
Thank you! -

It should be possible to have other personal data filled out via autofill (e.g. addresses, birth date etc.).
