I agree 100% This would make the experience of using Pass so much easier and more aesthetically pleasing.

I'm very 'visual' person and want to quickly see the site I want with a good representative icon. RoboForm Is an INCREDIBLE example of the automated capability; 1PWd's ability to upload whatever you want is HUGE value for me.

Agree this would be helpful. Also, this is not solving the core problem. Proton Pass should have a more reliable way of retrieving icons.

Sometimes when you create a new login, proton pass does not add the icon for that website. We should be able to add our own icon in that instance by right-clicking where the icon should be and import one from camera roll/files.

I know it's just "aesthetics" but this is my #1 blocker for switching from my current password manager. I have Proton Unlimited, but can't make the switch to Proton Pass without this feature. What a shame... I really do want to use it.

Proton Pass is superb, but one thing I’m missing is the ability to manually choose which icons to include in the list. It would also be great if the variety of stock symbols could be increased. For example, when I add medical information about myself, the automatic symbol is a wrench, which feels a bit odd. It would be much better if there were more tailored options for this, or the ability to upload your own custom icons to Proton Pass.

Every single password manager I have ever used lets you set icons for your credentials, either custom ones or atleast presets. But Proton Pass is missing it entirely and makes it dependent on the website if it supports that, that is currently the only way, sadly.

Would love to be able to do this. Giving ProtonPass a shot after moving away from 1Password and this was a feature I really enjoyed having for specific use cases.

An example is with selfhosting stuff can mean that you will have similar subdomains but different applications. Since we're missing the feature of making logins specific to the subdomain (currently any password for a domain will appear), custom icons can help quickly identify the login we are looking for.

Love the app, however, this is my one minor annoyance with it.

As a user, I would really value the ability to customize entry icons in the password manager, similar to how this works in 1Password. When you have a large number of saved accounts, being able to recognize an entry instantly by its icon makes a noticeable difference. It reduces the need to carefully read through similar service names and helps me find what I need more quickly and with less effort, especially in everyday or time-sensitive situations.

Customizable icons also make the experience feel more personal and intuitive. Being able to choose visuals that match how I think about or use an account helps with recall and builds confidence that I’m selecting the right entry. Its the only thing that Authy does better - having moved from them to Proton, I do miss being able to chose whatever icons I want, if Authy can do it, surely Proton should be able to?

I think that this is a must-have feature that is still missing...

Moreover most of the icons aren't downloaded automatically, why don't you fix it?

this is a must have, favicons, and also custom icons on items if we want, even if it's from a set list of like, 50 icons we can choose from for custom items and such. please.
