Allow configuring Sign in with SSO providers inside entires
Many people have Google, Microsoft, or SSO providers linked to their logins. Inside 1Password you can choose the SSO provider, and the account so you know this account is linked to your Google Account, or Apple ID and can select which username. This will be really useful to set.

Protect Specific Vaults
Idea: hide content of specific vaults behind password (option to be activated by users).
Cause: I store wifi passwords, social security numbers, credit card numbers, recovery keys, and some other quite sensitive data into a specific vault. I would like to hide this vault behind a specific password so I can't see them without typing in that password, even if the application is unlocked.
Keep up the great services 🙏

Proton Authenticator Browser Extension & Online interface
Dear Proton team,
First, thank you for the privacy-focused tools you build and maintain—they’re genuinely appreciated.
I’d like to humbly suggest the addition of a browser extension for Proton Authenticator. Having the ability to auto-fill or quickly copy TOTP codes directly from the browser would make desktop workflows much smoother, without needing to reach for a mobile device every time. Many of us already trust Proton to secure our passwords and mail; extending that seamless experience to two-factor codes feels like a natural next step.
A dedicated extension—ideally integrated with the existing Proton ecosystem and locked behind account authentication—could preserve…

Shared wallet - propose my wallet first
When someone shares his wallet and I have 2 wallets for a website, it would be better to propose first the login of my wallet and not the one stored in the shared wallet

QR export
I am missing the export into QR codes. I consider it the best way to back up - physical, printed QR codes stored in a secure, offline place. That’s the only reason to stay with Google Authenticator.

Separate vault profiles or identity containers with password protection in Proton Pass
Please add support for separating login credentials into different vaults, profiles, or identity containers inside Proton Pass — similar to how "Identities" work in LastPass.
This request is only for Proton Pass and is unrelated to "Identities" in Proton Mail or other services.
The goal is to allow users to create separate compartments within their Proton Pass vault, such as:
1. Personal
2. WorkEach "vault profile" should:
* Be optionally protected by a second password or PIN
* Be isolated from autofill/search in other profiles
* Require manual switching (with authentication) to accessWhy is this important?

Hinder alias detection on custom domains
Services are slowly cracking down on aliased emails, some already rejecting @passmail.net. A good alternative is having a custom domain, however a quick chech to the MX record will give away that it uses "alias.proton" and can potentially lead to new blocks.
Having the alias server be either merged to the regular proton traffic would be a nuisance for servers to distinguish aliased from actual emails, removing this single check: "if MX contains alias.proton, reject domain"

Quick fill
Some websites require a lengthy process to log in via email. Example with vinted.com: click "Sign Up | Log In" in top bar, when "Already have an account? Log in", when "Or log in with email". This a bit tedious, and it would be nice if this was an offered then I opened the main page.

Global Auto Type
With the Mac app, the Linux version, and the Windows application, please give us the ability to set a global auto-type command like Control + CMD + P. This command should open a window where Proton Pass automatically types in the data, enabling auto-fill in non-web applications, similar to how KeePass does it.

accessibility
Accessibility! It's 2025, modern products should have (keyboard) accessibility. Especially for the Authenticator app, it should not be too difficult to build in that you can just go to the search box with Cmd+F / Ctrl+F, type, hit enter or Cmd+C/Ctrl+C and be done!

Proton Authenticator shares attack surface with Proton Pass account login — defeating its purpose
I want to raise something that I think deserves more attention in the security design of Proton Authenticator.
The current setup creates a single point of failure: if an attacker compromises your Proton account credentials, they gain simultaneous access to both your passwords and your TOTP codes stored within the ecosystem. This effectively collapses a two-factor authentication scheme into a single-factor one from the attacker's perspective — the eggs-in-one-basket problem.
The core value proposition of 2FA is that credentials and the second factor exist in separate threat domains. When both live behind the same login, that separation is largely illusory.
