Create filters during alias creation
While creating a new Alias in proton pass, I think It would be extremely helpful to be able to create a new filter matching the alias, and select actions such as label, and move to folder.
The idea here is to reduce the steps to create a filter matching the new alias. This should help make it easy to practice good housekeeping and inbox management.

Option to add Secret Key (like how 1Password has)
I think Proton Pass should let the user decide to add a secret key along side their master password to their Proton Pass account.
So, similar to how 1Password creates their secret key to protect 1Password users.
The option should be opt-in as the user needs to add it during the sign up process or needs to go into settings if not already configured to add to the user's Proton Pass account.
This feature adds additional security as if the master password is discovered. The account still can't be accessed without the secret key.

Additional Item Export-Import Metadata for Identification and Trackability
This additional idea comes from my experience reimporting a whole Pass dataset, hoping it would replace existing items and update them.
Each item should have additional metadata, such as an import ID and import date-time, perhaps the date-time could be encoded into the import ID. The way this would work is, that at the time of import, an auto-generated import ID would be created for any and all of the imported items, so that multiple items, being part of a package, imported in bulk simultaneously, would share the same import ID and date-time of import.
This would allow for more…

Concealable fields on credit card entries
Ability to add in custom concealable fields for entries, particularly credit cards for things like app pin numbers and other security codes. This could be implemented in a similar way to how card numbers are displayed usually where they are partially obfuscated.

Add list of logins that support Security Key to Pass Monitor
In Pass Monitor it shows which logins don't have 2FA enabled yet, but do support it. Pass Monitor does, however, not show a list of login's that support the use of a security key. This could be helpful in further enhancing the security of accounts. Now it has to be checked manually.
Maybe it does not have to be a 'missing security key' feature, as the key is not stored in Proton Pass, but just a check to see which login's support it. Or a way to check the items yourself if a key is added.

Add notification for expiring cards
Credit card items already have a field for an expiration date. It would be great if Pass Monitor could notify me on cards that will expire soon. Ideally this would work with future items that have expiry dates (e.g., licenses, passports, etc.)

Ability to Move/Rearrange Custom Fields and Sort by Sections
This is crucial for anyone who saves additional information for logins. I want to be able to organise data by sections and be able to move custom fields to the top or bottom.

Secure QR codes
Just like secure links or vault sharing.
This will be very efficient for mobile proton pass users because all they have to do is to scan to get your shared data.
Make this for upgraded users as well as for free users (free have vaults)3 votes -
Vault sharing with a link
Share a vault with just a link without the need for the recipient to create an account

Use plus address aliases (+) with existing aliases
I have a handful of Proton aliases, and I want to reduce their attack surface area (even just slightly).
I wonder if it is possible to add "+Aliases" for existing Proton aliases?

Support ipv6 network addresses in proton pass.
In the areas I work and at home, much of my network stack and equipment is built on IPV6. Proton pass currently reads ipv6 addresses as invalid urls which makes retrieving credentials for direct connections quite inconvenient. This would be an immense QOL feature for myself, and potentially many others that interact with IPV6 networks.
Even something as simple as
http://[fe80::1]does not work.16 votes -

Add support for HTTP basic authentication
If a website requires Basic Authentication, the browser creates a login prompt and at the moment it's not possible to use the proton pass browser extension to fill the credentials, This is already supported by 1Password.

Create login from alias
When I am on a "sign up" page and at the email field I select "Hide My Email" to create an alias, create a login with that alias and autofill the password field on the form.
I currently have to go and copy the email alias, and create a login, create a password, copy password and go paste the password into the form. Automating this process would be ideal.

Option to save the login information from the password generated
As of now, after a password is generated the only option available is to copy the generated password. You then either create a new login information and paste the password there or use your password in a site or app and let proton autosave it. A feature wherein you can save the generated password along with the login information directly from the 'generate password' popup would be useful.
