Ability to link the password from an entry to different entries that, maybe, differ for the username structure.
I'm referring to different services (firewall, exchange server, web application) that use, for example, ldap (same user and same password) but with different username format (username, domain\username, username@domain.tld).
Changing the user password would result in a single entry change (the base entry) in Proton Pass.
All the other entries would inheritate the new password.10 votes -
After deleting a Proton Auth, save credentials for up to 48h before permanent deletion.
The other app (Authy) has a feature that when you delete an authy it stores it for up to 48h. This ensures that if you delete something it doesnt cause a permanent mess. Proton Authentificator should add the same feature, saving credentials 48h after deletion.

Autofill from extension after search
I've saved more than 200 login items for single website. All are for different companies and all are legit. So when I'm using proton pass it shows me drop-down with 200 login items for that site - there's no search field.. So I would love to use keyboard shortcut to open extension and then use search field and press on wanted item to autofill. And the moment all I can do is scroll in that drop-down and look for one correct item or use search in extension and then manually copy and paste credentials, which is nonsense.

Vault security
Why can't I set a pin on certain vaults as an extra layer of security? I keep all my financial apps in Samsung's secure folder behind a 10 digit pin. I was hoping to only have one instance of Proton Pass on the phone and keep it in the secure folder too, but it won't autofill outside the secure folder. I've dumped all my thousands of passwords from Google into PP and am slowly working my way through deleting them and ensuring the rest are correct. Re-order custom fields in Proton Pass
Currently, you can add additional fields to an entry in Proton Pass but you cannot move them around. Sometimes, you may add additional notes out of order and wish to order them after entry. The only way to achieve this is to add a new field and then delete the old one. Please provide the ability to re-order added fields.

Offline functionality and sync intelligence
While many password managers offer offline access, Proton Pass could excel here with a particularly robust system. The app should automatically detect when a connection is unstable and proactively sync all critical data in advance. In the event of conflicts between offline changes, an intelligent merge function should be offered that shows the user exactly which version contains which information, rather than simply overwriting the latest one.

Unlock Windows desktop app with 2FA
There are already feature requests for a Desktop App and Biometric Sign-In.
Combining this all together, I can unlock Windows via my phone's biometrics. With that, I would have 2FA.

You can currently export TOTP from Proton Pass to Proton Authenticator. It would be nice to export TOTP from Proton Authenticator to Proton Pass.

Proton Authenticator - more linux options
Please provide more packages for different distributions like Arch for example. Restricting us to just the ones that are currently isn't that great.
Alternatively provide flatpaks for the Apps.

Not sure if this is possible on android but Apple offers it by default.

Contacts
I would like to see the ability to store and save Contact information. Having all of my contacts saved in a service like Google Contacts is useful, but overwhelming and unnecessary at times. With Proton Pass, I could create contacts that I don't need to pop up everytime I send an email or am looking for someone specific. For instance, It would work great with Vaults, being able to organize and share with others, as well as being able to have an archive of contacts that I no longer use or regularly need. Unlocking browser extension when unlocking the desktop app (connect Proton Pass desktop with Proton Pass in the browser)
IMO it would be great if you could connect the Proton Pass desktop app with the browser extension.
(Coming from 1Password it's a feature I'm missing. That's the name of the setting there:

Auto-lock options for the Authenticator
It would be great to have auto-lock options for the app:
• lock after X minutes of inactivity in the app,
• lock after X minutes of system inactivity,
• and an option to lock (or not) when the OS gets locked.This would let users control whether the app should stay unlocked after the system is unlocked, or require the password again. This adds flexibility and better security.

Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. Please add an option in Proton Authenticator to log in using a QR code and a temporary (one-time) password, similar to Yandex and their Yandex.Key.
