Improving Android/One UI Integration
To compete with system-integrated solutions like Google Password Manager or Samsung Pass, Proton Pass needs to move beyond being "just an app" and become a deeply integrated system component. I propose the following technical improvements to achieve a seamless, high-performance experience on Android and One UI:
Full Credential Manager API Optimization: Instead of relying on legacy autofill overlays, Proton Pass should perfectly implement the Android 14+ Credential Manager API. This ensures that login prompts appear as native system bottom sheets. Specifically, the "gray square" icon bug on Samsung devices must be fixed to ensure a professional, native look.

Re-order custom fields in Proton Pass
Currently, you can add additional fields to an entry in Proton Pass but you cannot move them around. Sometimes, you may add additional notes out of order and wish to order them after entry. The only way to achieve this is to add a new field and then delete the old one. Please provide the ability to re-order added fields.

Filter same passwords
New users were often using the same passwords for different websites, apps… It could be useful to enable to filter all duplicated passwords, so as to update them one by one.

Offline version of Proton Pass
To align with Keepass and strongbox, it would be helpful to have an offline version of Proton Pass. There are still some passwords that I do not carry on my phone because I do not wish to run the risk of losing the phone and have all passwords compromised. Those passwords stay home on an offline file reducing the exposure if a compromise happens.

A better link between apps in the browser extension
I wanted to open Proton Mail in my browser, and went looking for a shortcut through the Proton Pass extension. I had to make several clicks, searching every screen for a link to the other app. Eventually I found it in the triple line menu > Settings > Little 4 squares icon for Proton apps > Mail.
I don't want to create a separate shortcut for mail and every app I decide to use (especially as my frequency of using them can be pretty low). I really just expected to find an easy path through the proton extension that's always…

individual 4-6 digit PIN codes added as option for high risk logins
Proton Pass already keeps your data safe with two-factor authentication, which is fantastic. But imagine if, when you need to quickly access important passwords—say for your bank or private email—you could just enter a simple 4-6 (or even 8) digit PIN. It’s a fast, extra layer of security that makes retrieving your most critical credentials both secure and super convenient.

Allow the user to specify the login form fields used for auto-fill
Allow the user to choose which field on a login form is associated with the username, password, OTP, etc. Sometimes fields are not detected successfully, so auto-fill doesn't work. Other password managers allow the user to choose the ID of the fields in the page's HTML so they're always filled correctly.

Custom App Icons
Add various themed and discreet app icons across the suite, similar to Signal.
Protonmail seems to have integrated something like this on iOS thus far, but only very basic discreet icons.6 votes -

You can currently export TOTP from Proton Pass to Proton Authenticator. It would be nice to export TOTP from Proton Authenticator to Proton Pass.

Unlocking the Proton Pass extension with a password (not just a PIN or biometric authentication) for added security.
Unlocking the Proton Pass extension with a password (not just a PIN or biometric data) for added security. It's fine that some people want to unlock it with a PIN or biometric data, but I prefer the security option.

Auto-close the navigation menu after clicking an option
When I click on something in the navigation menu, it stays open. I have to click elsewhere in the app to close the menu. I've looked in the settings and can't find an option to auto-close it.
Please make the nav menu auto close after selecting an item (vault, utility, etc.).

Optional unlock-before-autofill security model for browser extension
Proton Pass currently follows a browser-trust security model: once the browser session is unlocked, autofill is allowed without additional user authentication.
For users who keep their browser open for long periods or occasionally share devices, this effectively means the password manager is also unlocked. The existing PIN protects access to the Proton Pass UI, but does not gate
autofill itself, so credentials can still be filled without explicit authentication.I would like to suggest offering an optional vault-style security model, where autofill requires explicit user authentication (password or biometrics), and optionally auto-locks after inactivity independent of browser state.

Device-bound passkeys with attestation - Please add support
My employer is shifting to device-bound passkeys with the isBackupEligible flag set FALSE. ProtonPass does not support these Passkeys.
I am not the biggest fan of Yubikeys (as I misplace and break them), and the only app which supports device-bound passkeys, at this time, seems to be MS Authenticator. 🤮
Please would you add device-bound key support.
I only have a surface level understanding of this, but MS has a write up of their Passkey features here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft-entra-blog/the-latest-enhancements-in-microsoft-authenticator/40788077 votes -
Support for ARM-based Microsoft Windows / Devices
With the growing support for Windows on ARM and my use of a Snapdragon X Elite laptop, I was wondering if there are any plans to release a native ARM-compatible version of Proton Pass for Windows. I'd love to know if this is on the roadmap.

unlock Authenticator with Physical Security Key
Currently you can unlock the Proton Authenticator app with 'biometrics' which uses your Windows Sign In security. However, you can't use the physical security key option as the way to unlock the Authenticator app.
