1. Display the status of an alias in the logins which use the alias

   When an alias is disabled, there is no indication on the "Login" that uses that alias that the alias is disabled.

   There should be a toggle on the Login next to the email alias, identical to the one that exists on the Alias

4. Send email from aliases

   I want to be able to send emails from alias addresses. Sometimes I need to send an email regarding an account made with an alias email address. I need to send the email from my main email address which defeats the purpose of using an alias. Sometimes the Help Centre even refuses to acknowledge that I'm the owner of the account because I didn't send the email from the confirmed email of the account (the alias).

7. On the fly alias creation

   Allow aliases to be created on the fly outside of the app by allotting each user a subdomain of their choice on alleas.com or any other Pass domain. This is similar to implementation of aliases in Addy.io or Skiff(RIP).

   Then whenever an email is received at alias@subdomain.domain.com create an alias for user with the subdomain.

   This addition will make the alias creation flow simpler and easier while also making aliases easier to remember due to being able to pick out alias subdomain.

8. Unlock desktop apps with biometrics (Windows and macOS)

   In addition to being able to unlock Proton Pass on macOS computers with a PIN code it would make sense to also activate TouchID as an alternative unlocking option (just like on iOS devices).

Now I want to send their support an email - so I just go to passmail.net right - nope that redirects to proton pass which has no links to configuring an alias recipient. now I have to try and work out wtf I am supposed to configure that. I dont know because I dont buy the service from that company it is part of my proton subscription. This is just too hard. It makes using the alias very very tedious.

10. SEND an email using Alias Addresses — Vital Protection for Journalists

    I have been a subscriber to Iron Vest (fmr. DNT Abine) for years. It's a relatively expensive service, but having received Death Threats against me & my Family for my Journalistic Work, it has been a necessary one. It allows me to hide my Protonmail Address when communicating with unvetted sources. I can send, receive and reply to potentially unsafe sources. Just like Proton Pass, it also enables me to switch off spammers.

    I was really Happy when Proton Pass came along! I have moved EVERYTHING over to Proton Technologies; Emails, Calendar, Cloud Drive, VPN and Passwords! It was a simple choice to make: PROTON KEEPS ME SAFE!

    And with PASS, I thought I finally could wave goodbye to Iron Vest… But to my great disappointment I discovered that the Alias Addresses can only receive and not send.
    I cannot initiate contact to a Source.

    I would ask that Proton Technologies will consider adding this New Feature to Proton Pass. It is essential for Journalists working in a controversial field in Dangerous Parts of the World that we can contact Suggested Sources and correspond with them while at the same keep our actual Email Address hidden.

12. Dark and Light Themes for Proton Pass Windows Desktop App

    I am unable to find how to switch to Light Mode for the Proton Pass Windows desktop app. My Windows 11 is set for "Light Mode," but the Proton Pass desktop app remains in dark mode, which is hard for me to see.

    There should be a user option within the app to switch between Light and Dark modes.

13. Disable interception of passkey

    Right now if any website requests for passkeys/security keys, proton pass automatically intercepts the request. It does this, even if proton pass just input the password and now the website invoked for security key. I use my physical security key for this purpose and the interception is annoying.

14. Save the window size and position when exiting

    So far, every time I open the program I need to drag the window open to see more of the program window. It would be nice if it saved the size at least. Thanks.

15. Unify design language around disabling aliases between SimpleLogin and Proton Pass

    Users should be able to disable an alias, but enable it when it is needed. The design of SimpleLogin does this correctly. Users should not need to "move an alias to the trash" in order to disable that alias. When an alias is kept long term, but in a disabled state, it should not remain in the "trash." This is very counter-intuitive behavior. Disabling and enabling each login should be a simple toggle, not a complex action of moving in and out of the trash when a user wants to accept mail at that address again. If anything, the trash should hold aliases that will be permanently removed after a set period, not disabled aliases indefinitely as it currently does. There should be clear visualization of the state of whether the alias is "active" or "disabled" on every view of that alias. Currently, there is no obvious indication whether the aliases you are viewing are active or not in both the web app and the android app.

    We need to be able to set the Display Name for an alias (hide-my-email) in Proton Pass. Currently can only do this in SimpleLogin. Should be a natural part of creating or updating an alias in PP.

17. Drag and drop between vaults

    I want to drag and drop items from the vault list to another vault. It appears like the feature is almost there, but when I drop the item I am dragging on top of a vault nothing happens.
