1. Let folks add a new entry if the search results come back empty.

   Before entering a new login I’ll search for it to make sure it doesn’t already exist. Please add the option to create a new entry in the blank search results. Copy the search query as the title. This would save precious time and reduce wasted keyclicks.

4. Autofill the new "Other" Item type

   Please add the ability to autofill the new "Other" item type. For example when I want to enter my wifi password on mobile and open Proton Pass from my keyboard, my wifi password doesn't show up as an option (even when I search for it) because it is not a login item, but an "other" item.

5. Display vault name or icon when displaying autofill options

   Display vault name or icon when displaying autofill options. Currently only the entry name and username/email are displayed. If I have two identically named entries for different family members in different vaults, I don't know which is which during autofill.

   Example: the username for login is a member number, which I don't remember by heart, then during autofill I'll see two identically named entries with login numbers, not knowing which is who.

   Having the vault icon/name displayed somewhere as well would immediately tell me which entry I need to select to access that family member's account.

6. Notes Feature or Additional Fields in Proton Authenticator

   Hi, I would love to see a notes feature or additional fields feature with Proton Authenticator, this way both the recovery codes and 2FA codes are in the same location. Correct me if I am wrong but this is still enforcing 2FA as Proton Authenticator will act as the second factor with either the 2FA code or recovery code. As at the moment I hear a lot of people have 2FA setup on a different app while they have their recovery codes linked to their password manager which means if the password manager is compromised there is no 2FA to stop them as the codes are stored there as well. Thanks all.

7. option to view character count of passwords

9. Generalize entries to allow new Sections, longform Notes, and filtering for all entry types

   "Other" entries (including "Start from scratch" as well as premades such as "API Credential", "Medical Record", "Passport", etc.) are fully customizable by allowing new Sections, Fields, and a longform Note field. This is great! My requests are to (1) make the other "non-Other" entry types equally flexible and unify the implementation of all entry types, and (2) make custom entries first-class along with the traditional legacy entry types.

   Specific issues:

   1. "Login", "Card", and "Note" entries don't allow new Sections.

   2. "Identity" entries don't include a longform Note field. (It's possible to replicate a Note field by adding a Text field to a Section, but raditional Note fields aren't associated with a Section, or perhaps it's attached to an unnamed section (which users aren't allowed to create).

   3. "Other" custom entries all use the same crescent-wrench icon, rather than the icons presented when they're created via +Create item > Other. For example, if I create a Bank Account entry, the option originally shows an icon of a bank, but it's then replaced by a generic icon of a wrench.

   4. The list of entries can be filtered by "Logins", "Aliases", "Cards", "Notes", and "Identities", but not the other entry types such as "API Credential", "Software license", "WiFi network", "Bank Account", "Membership", "Reward Program", etc.

   My specific feature requests:

   1. Allow new Sections to be added to "Login", "Card", and "Note" entries. Probably every one of my entries in 1Password includes custom Sections because it enables me to cleanly organize additional information and not get them mixed up: security phrases, account decovery details, phone numbers, secondary usernames/passwords if the account has other login options such as ssh, smtp, etc., and so forth.

   2. Add a longform Note field to the Identity entry type. I use this to add all sorts of details like place of birth, family, medical, citizenship, ... any longform details. All other entry types include a longform Note field, it's odd that Identify is the only entry type that's missing it, and it's super-useful.

   3. Use the icons presented in +Create entry > Other, rather than a generic wrench icon.

   4. For extra credit, it'd be great if you allowed the user to create their own new "Other" templates, along with it's own custom icon. This isn't a critical feature, I've never needed this in 1Password since they already include every entry type I need, but if you did this, it would be a step above and beyond what 1Password supports.

   5. Allow filtering by all entry types, including "API Credential", "Software license", "WiFi network", "Bank Account", "Membership", "Reward Program", etc. In other words, convert each of the pre-defined "Other" templates first-class entry types that support the same features as "Login", "Card", "Note", and "Identity".

   Generalizing your implementation to treat all entry types as first-class not only makes Proton Pass more flexible and powerful but hopefully also simplifies your code base by eliminating one-off differences that may be coded into your different entry types. This flexibility is extremely useful and very much missed when transitionning from 1Password to Proton Pass.

10. Enträge alphabetisch ordnen!!!

    Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn man die Einträge alphabetisch ordnen könnte, und notwendig, um Einträge schnell zu finden. Die Suche ist nervig. Google PM ist zumindest in dieser Hinsicht benutzerfreundlicher. Ich habe ein Proton-Abo für ein Jahr abgeschlossen, bekomme aber überhaupt nicht das, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. ProtonPass ist nicht benutzerfreundlich (s.o.). Den Proton-Authenticator kann ich nicht nutzen, weil Google keinen Export seiner Einträge zulässt. Und das war mein Hauptgrund für die Entscheidung füt Proton. Fazit: Das Proton-Abo ist für mich eine totale Pleite!!!. Wie kann ich das Abo rückgängig machen? Einspruch oder Widerspruch einlegen? Wie? Ich bitte um Hilfe und Anweisung.

12. [Browser Extension] Sort by Relevancy / Prefer Domain or Title

    When the user visits a website, the extension performs a simple auto-search for the domain.
    However, this is a fuzzy search that matches all occurrences in all fields. This means that the relevant domain might not appear at the top of the results.

    For example, if I visit somemail.com, the search will return all logins that contain the field somemail.com. This includes all websites where this email address is set as login credentials.

    With the default “Sort by recency,” other websites can be placed at the top.

    This is a problem if you don't use the autofill feature or if it doesn't work on the website.

    One way to fix this would be to always prioritize the title or domain over other websites.
    Another solution would be to add a new sorting option to sort by relevance instead, which would do the same in a user-controlled manner.

13. Nix flake

    Nix is one of the most secure ways to distribute your app. Please create a Nix flake with linux and macOS support and have it maintained in the app's repo that users can add to their Nix configs.

    This would provide the best end to end security, simplify updates and it's a very low effort feature for potentially a lot of new users.

14. Have optional email (Not ProtonMail) as suggested username/email

    In some cases i don't want to misuse my ProtonMail as i only use it for communication that is strictly important and that i need to be able to verify is from the right source.In other cases i really just want to use my regular spamfull email to register, and it would be nice if this could be the suggested email from shortcuts to paste when creating a new entry

16. Allow importing password-encrypted Bitwarden .json files

    At the moment we can only import decrypted, plain-text JSON files exported from Bitwarden but this presents potential security risks during the exporting process. Allow users to directly import password-encrypted Bitwarden json files into Proton Pass for enhanced security.

17. Allow applying multiple filters

    When filtering vault items, currently we can only select All or one specific filter (e.g., logins, aliases, etc), however, for some use-cases, it would be good to have the flexibility to select more than one filter to improve the search feature. This would add some extra quality of life to the app. Thanks.

20. Suggestion for giving a folder option and also custom field making

    Proton pass now have 20 vault for premium users and only 2 vault for free but if it would have a folder system rather than vault or let the vault stay but if we could gather some of our logins in a single folder for easy findings it would be great can you guys make it happen? I really need this feature it's really a must have feature for password manager

    And 2nd thing, make the generation of a custom field making (like I am creating a custom box for my important text in seperate box free it's really necessary in normal usage
