Keyboard shortcuts
Authy's desktop app is (was) handy in that I could switch to the app and start typing, without using the mouse, to pull up the account for which I need(ed) a TOTP code. With Proton Pass, I have to click in the search bar before typing to search. It would be appreciated and convenient if there were a keyboard shortcut to jump to the search bar in the Proton Pass desktop app.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if there were keyboard shortcuts to jump to different fields of the desktop app and to copy or edit them, without having to use the mouse. Currently the only option for such is to repeatedly mash Tab.
Thank you, Proton, for your hard work!
This feature is a work in progress.

This also dramatically increases UX when you have multiple Credentials for the same Page. Autofill will likely give you the wrong credentials from autofill. A hotkey to rotate between different creds for a page were super convenient.
Also coming from bitwarden and I really live this feature there. -

A 1Password-style quick access menu (with a global shortcut, ctrl+shift+space) would allow me to switch completely to Proton Pass. https://support.1password.com/quick-access/

This would be incredible handy, sometimes the icon on login-fields doesn't show up correctly so a keybind would solve this.

This is why I still use Bitwarden. BTW partially duplicated: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/46860538-form-fill-shortcut

I migrated over from 1Password and one feature I really miss is being able to activate a password search from a global hotkey. I liked being able to press a hotkey (for ex ctrl + shift + space) and have a search come up where I can search passwords and then have more hotkeys to copy username, password, one-time password, etc.

I am strongly considering switching from Nextcloud, Mullvad, and Bitwarden to the Proton app suite. At the moment, the lack of this feature is preventing me from making the switch now. I prefer keybinds whenever possible, and I love being able to use Ctrl-Shift-F to fill my login using just my left hand. Would love to see this added.

I use a vim-like setup on all my browsers, specifically on my laptop. I am not kidding when I say that I NEVER reach for the trackpad while browsing other than to click on the login credentials with Proton Pass. Proton Pass alone is increasing my trackpad usage (which I have gone to great lengths to minimize) by 100%.
And it's absurd seeing as how it's nothing but a dropdown menu, the kind we've been using TAB and/or the arrow keys to browse with zero issues on every other software for decades.

To make ProtonPass more 'feature competitive' compared to Bit Warden I suggest adding autofill with autofill keyboard shortcut and the TOTP copy feature.
Example: Bitwarden has settings to disable/enable Autofill by default. Each item in a vault as a custom setting to honor/dishonor that default. And Bitwarden supports a keyboard shortcut. There's a separate setting to enable copying TOTP to clipboard for x seconds once an autofill event happens.
These combined with small attachments are 'critical path' items to fully replacement Bitwarden.

Security and accessibility issues aside, not having an autofill hotkey is a dealbreaker for me. Signing in using the Bitwarden extension is very easy, and I will be using it until ProtonPass implements this feature. As soon as this feature gets added, I plan on dropping Bitwarden and using ProtonPass exclusively.

This is a make-or-break feature of a password manager for me. Please hurry up as I would rather use Proton Pass instead of Bitwarden due to the perfect integration with simplelogin and 2FA.

Hello!
Coming from Bitwarden, I use heavily the shortcuts (to auto-fill & generate a new password), especially when the auto-fill icon is not available.
Especially the password generation as I often want to generate passwords for another non web application. -

This is a very important feature for security and accessibility. I don't want to keep autofill enabled in my browser extensions, and neither it to add new elements to the website (reduce risks of fingerprinting, remove UI glitches, etc). I've been using the shortcut in Bitwarden and that's the greatest solution!

This feature isn't only an accessibility feature, but also a security feature. Having the browser extension autofill forms is less secure, and having the extension add images to the form disrupts the layout of some webpages.
Bitwarden is more secure by enabling forms to be "autofilled" with a keystroke like this and I will never go back to the "Lastpass" method of having icons injected into forms. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to disable the form icon in the current version of the Brave/Chrome extension.
