Import from StickyPassword
Import from the password manager StickyPassword would be a very helpful feature :-)

Add Minimalist Password Manager to the Import Option
Minimalist Password Manager is an encrypted wallet available through the Apple App store (see https://minimalistpassword.com/). It is being removed from the App store in August 2026. It's .csv export function does not result in an accurate import into Proton Pass. It does allow for an export to Apple Passwords, which I could then import into Proton Pass, but I would prefer to import directly into Proton Pass.

Copy Custom Item Types to Enter Multiple Items for that Custom Item.
Allow a custom item type to be copied so that it can be used several times without having to recreate all of the fields for a custom item type you have already created. I created a new custom item type called Vehicle and included VIN, Make, Model, Year, Purchase Date, and Licence as fields for this new custom item type. Since I can't reuse the custom item type I created, I have to create it again, and again, for every vehicle I own. Proton Pass item types would become too cluttered if it provided every conceivable item type users want, but if users could replicate custom item types, users could tailor Proton Pass to meet diverse user needs.

Initial "Personalize" pop-up supression
Every time I log into ProtonPass on a browser, I get the "Personalize: Make it your own" pop-up, that requires three clicks to go through. I am fine with the default settings, but I even tried making adjustments to the settings and the pop-up still shows up each time.
Please add a way for users who are not interested in changing their settings to not have to get the pop-up every single time! Having to click through this pop-up every time is annoying!

Ability for spouse / another user on pass family to request access to all passwords
When someone becomes disabled either via long hospitalization, dementia, etc. it becomes necessary for their caregiver, spouse, Power of Attorney holder, etc. to access their passwords so that they can manage accounts for the disabled person. This feature would allow the user to:
1) Set a rule for to specify which users are allowed to request such access
2) Set a time value for how many days after a request is issued for it to be auto-approved
3) Once a request is sent, notify the user that a request to access all passwords has been generated
3) Once a request is approved (either by the user or by auto rule), the requester has access to all passwords (basically all vaults become shared with the requester)
4) Ability for the user to unshare again if they have recovered from say a long hospital stayWhen someone becomes disabled either via long hospitalization, dementia, etc. it becomes necessary for their caregiver, spouse, Power of Attorney holder, etc. to access their passwords so that they can manage accounts for the disabled person. Proton Pass integration with External Secrets Operator
Proton Pass is a great candidate, similar to 1Pass, for a supported provider inside the Kubernetes External Secret Operator. This could be done via calls out to the cli directly if necessary, but direct API calls would likely be more scalable if capable.

Pass Monitor - Inactive 2FA
Let me turn off monitoring for inactive 2FA without turning off any of the other monitoring features. Most of my 2FAs are in Proton Authenticator, which doesn't even have a correlator to tie it to the Proton Pass entries. Also I have quite a few where for various reasons I cannot use the 2FA on the related site. For all of these, I still want the remaining monitor features enabled.

Automatically move specific item types to specific vaults
Please add an option to automatically move specific item types to specific vaults. For example, when creating a new Hide-My alias, it should automatically be moved to an "alias" vault

Autofill the new "Other" Item type
Please add the ability to autofill the new "Other" item type. For example when I want to enter my wifi password on mobile and open Proton Pass from my keyboard, my wifi password doesn't show up as an option (even when I search for it) because it is not a login item, but an "other" item.

Display password
It would be great and much easier to read if the displayed password was separated into 4 or 5 characters

Device-bound passkeys with attestation - Please add support
My employer is shifting to device-bound passkeys with the isBackupEligible flag set FALSE. ProtonPass does not support these Passkeys.
I am not the biggest fan of Yubikeys (as I misplace and break them), and the only app which supports device-bound passkeys, at this time, seems to be MS Authenticator. 🤮
Please would you add device-bound key support.
I only have a surface level understanding of this, but MS has a write up of their Passkey features here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft-entra-blog/the-latest-enhancements-in-microsoft-authenticator/40788072 votes -
Notes Feature or Additional Fields in Proton Authenticator
Hi, I would love to see a notes feature or additional fields feature with Proton Authenticator, this way both the recovery codes and 2FA codes are in the same location. Correct me if I am wrong but this is still enforcing 2FA as Proton Authenticator will act as the second factor with either the 2FA code or recovery code. As at the moment I hear a lot of people have 2FA setup on a different app while they have their recovery codes linked to their password manager which means if the password manager is compromised there is no 2FA to stop them as the codes are stored there as well. Thanks all.

Default Vault for Saving New Items
When I save a new password, I keep finding that it has been saved to the wrong Vault. This is a problem because I have some shared vaults and do not want to expose passwords, etc., for non-shared products.
I request the ability to choose a default vault that new items will be added to if not designated otherwise, regardless of what Vault is open in Pass.

More autofill on Android - Tiles, inline, accessibility, draw over
Show login credential suggestions in login fields instead of just "Get from Proton Pass". I don't want to be redirected to the app every time.

Implement KDBX Export for Secure Backups and KeePass Ecosystem Interoperability
Proton Pass could benefit from the ability to export to KeePass .kdbx to ensure both security and data sovereignty. The current unencrypted CSV export is a plaintext risk that compromises all credentials if the file is lost or stolen. The KDBX format, however, provides robust, file level protection through AES-256/ChaCha20 encryption and HMAC data integrity checks. Furthermore, KDBX is also an industry standard, structured format that preserves your entire vault's metadata, grouping, and custom fields, allowing for a non lossy, seamless migration to offline applications like KeePassXC, which is vital for users managing highly sensitive information.
Overall, Protonpass is great for organizing, securing, and creating a majority of my logins (especially handy with simplelogin integration). Though, some of us also rely on Keepassxc for more sensitive information and offline use cases.

Lumo-Edge: local secure agent for Proton Pass (iOS/macOS autofill improvement)
Proposal: Lumo-Edge – a local, zero-trust agent designed to improve Proton Pass autofill on Safari (iOS & macOS).
Concept:
• 100 % local, end-to-end encrypted channel
• iOS: App Group (X25519 + AES-GCM)
• macOS: local mTLS daemon
• No plaintext, no data collectionGoal:
Enable faster, safer, fully offline form autofill while maintaining Proton’s autonomy and privacy standards.Source / PoC:

Pass filter search improvement
Proton Pass filter search improvement.
An optimized filter search in Pass will make the service more user-friendly. For example, you can search for items with attached files, or search for items that contain certain filled-in fields.

Pass monitor improvements - associated domains, resolve individually
A couple minor pass monitor improvements requested:
Would be helpful to have affected breaches document associated domains. For some of the organizations that are documented, it unclear which sites/domains they are truly associated with. Makes it difficult to take action.
When highlighting breaches detected, they are associated with an email address, they can only be resolved for the email address, rather than the related possible breaches per email. This is problematic when there are multiple possible breaches associated with an email address. Should allow resolution of a particular breach, rather than just the email.
