Expand Lifetime Plan Options for Long-Term Proton Supporters
As a supporter of Proton's mission, I would like to suggest making Lifetime plans more accessible and flexible for a wider range of users.
- Revisit Lifetime plan pricing
While the current $199 Lifetime discount is appreciated, the overall cost remains quite high for many international users. With the US dollar continuing to strengthen against several currencies, the effective cost has become even higher over time. Regional pricing or additional discounts could make Lifetime plans more attainable for users around the world.
- Introduce a Proton Family Lifetime plan
Many users have successfully adopted Proton across their entire household. A Lifetime Family…

Improve the Hidden Vaults feature to include "Secret Vaults" that are PIN/Password-protected
It would be great if the Organize Vaults - Hidden vaults feature in the mobile apps could be improve to allow more user security. For example, it could show normal vaults that have been hidden and also ask the user to input a pin or password to show vaults that "secret" hidden vaults. This could be interesting for certain scenarios where the user might be compelled to show their vault to a third-party.

Unlock Windows desktop app with 2FA
There are already feature requests for a Desktop App and Biometric Sign-In.
Combining this all together, I can unlock Windows via my phone's biometrics. With that, I would have 2FA.
Factor 1: Ownership (Phone)
Factor 2: Biometrics265 votes -

Proton aliases to DUO partner
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the mail‑alias forwarding functionality.
Current limitation: At present, aliases can only be forwarded to the primary Proton address associated with the account. This works well for personal use, but it restricts the flexibility that DUO users expect.
Requested feature: Allow users to forward alias messages not only to their own Proton address but also to the email address of their DUO partner.

List of websites where autofill isn't working properly
Hi, I've noticed that the auto-fill isn't always working properly for some websites. So I'd like to start a thread where people list those websites and this way you could fix them and track their progress
I'll start:
Firefox and Proton Pass extension v1.32.11
- account.proton.me: TOTP auto-fill doesn't prompt after selecting it
- cdiscount.com: email address doesn't auto-fill on first page. But password works correctly

Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. I really like the idea of your "vaults", but again I have over like 3000 bookmarks and folders are really needed. Also attachments with built in viewer is also important. I like to convert a lot of websites to…
1,965 votesAs per the Spring/Summer Roadmap, this is being developed: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
Folders will be a significant building block for Proton Pass that will go beyond just helping you organize your items. Introducing folders will require some rethinking of our cryptography model, which we’re currently working on. Eventually, you’ll also be able to share folders and subfolders just like your vaults and individual items, giving you another flexible way to share access.
Folders will be available in the coming months. As well as creating vaults, you’ll be able to create dedicated folders and subfolders to organize crucial information for quick retrieval: you can organize by project, by team, by year, or whatever else you need.

Proton Pass Browser Extension: 2FA autofill/button relocation
This idea applies to the desktop Proton Pass extension (specifically, Firefox for me)
Current flow for login to a site: When entering username and password, the autofill prompt is directly below the input field. For 2FA autofill, it moves to being below the Proton Pass Extension icon in the toolbar.
Proposal: Either have 2FA autofill, /or/ relocate the autofill prompt to be in the same position as the username and password prompts.
As a layperson, I think of the username, password and TOTP to all be fields within an entry in Proton Pass, so I can't think of an architectural…

Simplelogin Domain Alias Rules Edit
Option to edit the rules after they are created.
If you need to change the Deafaul mailbox for a rule, you have to delete the rule and then recreate it. It would be much simple if you could just edit the existing rule.3 votes -
More options for "Auto-lock after" and allow "Auto-lock after LAST USED"
1) More timing options:
Today the "Auto-lock after" has just a few options, I'd like to see a couple more other than
- 1min
- 2min
- 5min
- 10min
- 1hrMaybe add a couple more and allow a bigger upper limit:
- 30 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes. I've seen some pass managers to allow up to 4 hours.
Or, just set an bigger upper limit and let the user give their own number between 1min and X hours (new upper limit)
2) Add option to "Auto-lock after LAST USED"
Example (using 1hr to Auto-lock):- Unlocked at 10am (set…

Notifications for existing entries in Proton Pass that are capable of supporting passkeys.
If one is using a particular entry in Proton Pass to login to a site, it would be nice to have Proton Pass notifiy you that the site supports passkeys (assuming you don't already have a passkey for that site). As it is, as far as I know, one has to constantly check to see if existing sites support passkeys.

Alphabetic sorting in the Authenticator App on Apple Watch
The 2FA entries are not sorted in a recognizable order, and since searching for items on the watch is a bit tedious, simply sorting them alphabetically would improve usability dramatically.

Proton Authenticator shares attack surface with Proton Pass account login — defeating its purpose
I want to raise something that I think deserves more attention in the security design of Proton Authenticator.
The current setup creates a single point of failure: if an attacker compromises your Proton account credentials, they gain simultaneous access to both your passwords and your TOTP codes stored within the ecosystem. This effectively collapses a two-factor authentication scheme into a single-factor one from the attacker's perspective — the eggs-in-one-basket problem.
The core value proposition of 2FA is that credentials and the second factor exist in separate threat domains. When both live behind the same login, that separation is largely illusory.
