Automatically use email alias for Identity card
More and more websites are starting to put you on a mailing list the moment you enter an email address (before clicking any submit button). This causes an issue when using the Identity feature in Proton Pass to autocomplete other fields (e.g. address), as it will expose your real email address. Even if you change the email addresse after the fact to an alias, they will still reach out to you on the address in your identity card.
It would be nice to have an option in the ID card to automatically generate an alias when filling in your details on online forms.

Enable communication between ProtonPass web extension and desktop app when offline
Currently, if not connected to the internet, the ProtonPass web extension is useless. Please recognize that use of the web extension is desirable in more than just for websites, specifically for logins and such on a LAN. E.g., I can't login to my pfSense virtual machine on another PC (or even if it's running on the same PC) using the PP web extension even though the PP desktop app is running. The expected behavior, to me, would be that the extension somehow recognizes that desktop PP is running on the system (or on the LAN on another PC!!) and gets data from it, not requiring internet connectivity. Some KeePass versions and extensions do give such useful behavior (KeePass was my password manager before switching to PP, but I have not abandoned it entirely, for I use it to overcome deficiencies in PP.). In general, do not require internet access unless absolutely required (in any software), and allow users to have the choice what data is kept local, on the internet, or both. (Does part of this suggestion ruin Proton's business model? That being that the lock-in to Proton's servers is key? Discuss.)

blacklist for fraudulent webshops
There should be a blacklist for fraudulent webshops where you have experienced that they do not deliver goods or handle your items very poorly, so that you can check a box behind that site, and if you accidentally visit that site, you would then receive a notification from Proton saying, 'This site is on your blacklist' or something similar.

Key Based Login System Fields
Some Systems use Key Based Logins, or Master Code Backups instead of Traditional/Conventional Username/Email, and Password Fields.
Some examples would be Nostr, Mullvad, and KycNotMe
It would be helpful to have a field that allows you to select a Key login instead of username, and password, or text.
Allow an option to replace Username / Password with Keys.
Systems like these are not to be confused with 2FA TOTP passwords.

Desktop Security Key Management
When I log into an desktop app with 2FA, I'm prompted to either use a security key or OTP authentication. Since I'm on Windows, the computer defaults to Microsoft's built-in authenticator, which I don't use. Instead, I have to use OTP through Proton Pass since I currently use passkeys only through the browser extension.
Could Proton Pass possibly become the default passkey manager on the desktop level, not just in browsers?

Changes to the Unlock Options
The mobile app currently lacks the extra password unlock option, which is available on the desktop and web version. Additionally, users should have the flexibility to select multiple unlock methods.
For example, a user could primarily use Face ID while also having the option to fall back to an alternative method, like the extra password.4 votes -

Start Proton Pass together with your pc.
Now you have to start Proton Pass separate after you have initiated your pc. It would be nice if in Proton Pass is the option (tickbox) to start together with you pc.

Remember preference for password association
Some passwords, like bank log-ins, company secrets etc. is something i don't want to name according to where it belongs. Everytime i paste from Pass it prompts me to decide if i want to associate the password with the URL or not.

Prevent using previous passwords for proton pass login
If you change the password for logging into proton pass, prevent it from being re-used, as it may have been exposed in a data breach.

Import from Aura.com will be nice, also a generic import for this cases when the source is not listed is something to think about it too.

Change App Icon on mobile apps
Can we please add an option to change the app icon in the same way as Proton VPN.
This provides Proton Pass with another feature and the benefits that come along with it.
- Enhanced privacy/discretion
- Personalization
- Accessibility
I understand there are ways to change the icon outside of the app but these are not always accessible for users to do without root/launchers.

Proton Pass On Top
Currently when a login box appears, Proton Pass pop-up provdes a selector box for confirmation, but so does Google's Password Manage (GPM) box, and it's over the top of Proton Pass. In many cases, since I've stopped using GPM, the passwords have been updated in Proton Pass but not in GPM. But with the GPM, as it covers Proton Pass box, it makes it nearly impossible to select the correct credential/password, making it necessary to keep updating, (and using) GPM. Can you make it so that Proton Pass is always on top?

Make Proton Pass recognize Password-Field on reactive web apps
At least for some password fields, proton (unlike e.g. Firefox Password Manager) does not recognize some password-fields.

Proton Pass Integration with InputStick
I would like to request the integration of Proton Pass with InputStick—a wireless USB receiver that allows you to use your smartphone as a USB keyboard to input passwords on a computer or any other USB device.
Feature Description
- Goal: Enable Proton Pass users to send logins and passwords directly to a computer using InputStick, in a similar way to the integration available in the Keepass2Android app.
-
Benefits:
- Fast and secure input of login credentials on any computer without the need to install additional software.
- Support for various operating systems and devices that accept USB keyboards.
- Increased convenience for users who access Proton Pass on mobile devices.
Inspiration: Keepass2Android
Keepass2Android allows users to send passwords to a computer via InputStick, which enables:
- Entering login and password as a USB keyboard.
- Automating the login process.
- Supporting multiple keyboard layouts and operating systems.InputStick Website
More information about InputStick can be found on the official website: [https://www.inputstick.com]
Summary
Adding support for InputStick in Proton Pass would significantly increase the versatility and convenience of the password manager, especially for people who frequently log in on different computers or devices where installing additional software is not possible.

Im visually impaired & use large fonts. Proton cuts off info, esp. action buttons on pw generate by not scaling pop up boxes
Please make Proton scaleable (“dynamic Type”) for users using larger system font sizes. Right now so much information when using Proton is cut off on my screen. It is particularly difficult when the action button is missing at the bottom of the screen that pops up to generate a password. I cannot indicate to the program to use a particular password generated or to save and fill automatically for new sites or when updating existing passwords. This is the most frustrating instance that makes the Proton suite I subscribed to nearly useless to me due to visual challenges. Your boxes need to scale in size with user system font sizes used.
Message fron Apple Accessibility features for my larger system fonts: Apps that support Dynamic Type will adjust to your preferred reading size above. Proton Pass and mail are not adjusting!
I have not tried your Authenticator but others I have tried are useless to visually impaired persons as there is never enough time to use the authentication before it expires (all things didital and visual require more time for us). If your expiry times are not adjustable on your Authenticator they are not accessible to visually impaired persons. Please help simplify my digital life! Auto fill features and easy authenticators should be first and foremost accessible for blind and visually challenged persons! Thanks in advance for any improvements you can make.
