  3. Save Android App Package Names for Autofill

Make autofill on Android significantly more reliable by saving (and allowing import of) Android app package names/URIs.

Bitwarden and other password managers already do this in the same way that websites are saved. Currently these are lost on import, and there is no way to add them properly. If you try and add them manually, https:// is added at the start.

  5. Copy Custom Item Types to Enter Multiple Items for that Custom Item.

Allow a custom item type to be copied so that it can be used several times without having to recreate all of the fields for a custom item type you have already created. I created a new custom item type called Vehicle and included VIN, Make, Model, Year, Purchase Date, and Licence as fields for this new custom item type. Since I can't reuse the custom item type I created, I have to create it again, and again, for every vehicle I own. Proton Pass item types would become too cluttered if it provided every conceivable item type users want,…

  6. Ability for spouse / another user on pass family to request access to all passwords

When someone becomes disabled either via long hospitalization, dementia, etc. it becomes necessary for their caregiver, spouse, Power of Attorney holder, etc. to access their passwords so that they can manage accounts for the disabled person. This feature would allow the user to:

    1) Set a rule for to specify which users are allowed to request such access
    2) Set a time value for how many days after a request is issued for it to be auto-approved
    3) Once a request is sent, notify the user that a request to access all passwords has been generated
    3) Once a request…

  7. Autofill the new "Other" Item type

Please add the ability to autofill the new "Other" item type. For example when I want to enter my wifi password on mobile and open Proton Pass from my keyboard, my wifi password doesn't show up as an option (even when I search for it) because it is not a login item, but an "other" item.

Please add proxy setting Authenticator, because proton is not accessible in China. I have to use proxy to login Authenticator.

  9. Make emails found in data breaches case insensitive

If one of your emails has been found in a data breach in Pass Monitor, Proton Pass will currently only show logins where you saved your email in lowercase.

For example, if I have a login saved as My.Name@example.com, Proton Pass will say "Breaches detected for my.name@example.com" and the "Used in" section will currently be empty because it didn't match My.Name@example.com.

This is a request to show all matching logins in the "Used in" section regardless of case.

  11. Persistent preference/theme settings

Having to re-enter display appearance theme, unlock and password order preferences, etc. every time you log in or reboot is frustrating and unproductive.

  12. Credit Card Autofill

First it was on the roadmap for Spring 2024. Then Summer 2025. Now it's February 2026.

This is a feature that's more valuable, and seemingly easier to implement, than having a CLI interface.

  13. Reduction of redundant confirmations for existing entries

When updating existing password entries, double confirmation is currently required. This slows down the workflow and offers no discernible added security value. A single, clearly understandable confirmation would significantly improve usability without reducing the level of security.

  14. Suggest existing aliases as a username when creating a new login item

When creating new login item, Proton Pass only suggests my primary email as a username. I think it should provide a searchable list of all my existing aliases. Most often, when creating new accounts, I want to use one of my aliases instead of my primary address.

I know I can do it the other way around and start by creating the login item, and in that process tap the "Hide my email" button for creating a new alias. But there are situations in which the alias I want to use already exists. And people using the free tier probably…

  15. PIN Generator

Lots of services still require a PIN, so I think Proton Pass should be able to generate a secure one with configurable length.

  16. Lumo-Edge: local secure agent for Proton Pass (iOS/macOS autofill improvement)

Proposal: Lumo-Edge – a local, zero-trust agent designed to improve Proton Pass autofill on Safari (iOS & macOS).

    Concept:
    • 100 % local, end-to-end encrypted channel
    • iOS: App Group (X25519 + AES-GCM)
    • macOS: local mTLS daemon
    • No plaintext, no data collection

    Goal:
Enable faster, safer, fully offline form autofill while maintaining Proton’s autonomy and privacy standards.

  17. Username & Email for single ProtonPass saved Login

Currently you can only save either a username or your email with a single login in proton pass.

However some services may require a registration with an email-address and then have the login process only working with a username.

Id would be really helpful if you could save both in a single saved login in ProtonPass. You also could then add the ability to decide which one of these is primarly used for logins.

  19. Better handling of password fields with a maxlength attribute in the browser extension

Obviously having a password field with a relevantly small maxlength is already a strange choice, but some websites do this on their account registration forms, their password reset or recovery forms, and their login forms.

I'm not sure what the best handling of maxlength is for a password manager, but at a minimum drawing the user's attention to it and highlighting when we have saved or autofilled a password that does not fit in that maxlength would be good.

It creates a small security problem too, for users that use memorable (low entropy per character) passwords, they might prefer a…

  20. Show one-time email verification codes directly in Proton Pass

    Feature request:
I heavily use Proton Pass hide-my-email aliases to sign up for services (Tinder, Instagram, banks, stores, etc.). The current friction: whenever a site sends the 6-digit verification code (or confirmation link) to confirm the email address during signup or login, I have to leave Proton Pass, open Proton Mail, and hunt for the message.
    Suggestion:
It would be a game-changer if these one-time email verification codes (usually 4–8 digits) were automatically detected and displayed directly inside Proton Pass — right on the alias card itself — without ever needing to open the mailbox.
    Benefits:

    Instant code access →…
