When in hybrid remote and on-premises meetings, the ability to mute someone for myself is absolutely necessary. For example, my colleague sits next to me and I can hear them in the same room. I do not need their audio to come through the meeting chat so I would like to mute them for myself only. That way I can hear what they say in real life but not through the meeting. Others joining remotely in the meeting can hear my colleague via the meeting without issue.

Jitsi meet has this by default so it would be a matter of passing this through to the proton interface built on top of it.
