  2. Allow Change of Meeting Host Name

    Current situation:
--Recipients of ProtonMeet invitations currently receive the invitation/email from the main Proton Username.
--As the sender, there is no option to change the invitation sending address to a different existing identity/address.
--This causes confusion if the sender usually emails the recipient from a different identity/address.

    Request:
--Allow the sender to toggle and select any of their other existing identities/addresses from which to send the invitation.
--This functionality already exists for sending emails.

  3. Pin meeting rooms

It would be great to be able to pin or save a persons personal meeting room or a created meeting room so its easier to join it for other users at a later time. Instead of having to share the link each time or making the other person save it as a bookmark or similar.

  4. Enable Remote Desktop Control After Screen Sharing

Currently we use Cisco WebEx for Meetings. When attendees are using the locally-installed WebEx client, we are able to request Remote Control of an attendee's device (only after the attendee has shared their screen however). This functionality also exists in paid Zoom accounts.

This feature, along with a shared clipboard, benefits clients by allowing them to oversee in real time our maintenance of their server infrastructure, without having to give us direct SSH access.

    Thanks for considering this.

  6. Would love (actually NEED) a timer function in order to switch from another video platform.

I have a small business where we meet online every work day and I'd like to make the switch from Zoom over to Proton Meet. The major requirement, though, is to have a countdown timer visible to all participants. Is this something that will be available? Thanks for everything you do!

  7. Mute individual participants locally

When in hybrid remote and on-premises meetings, the ability to mute someone for myself is absolutely necessary. For example, my colleague sits next to me and I can hear them in the same room. I do not need their audio to come through the meeting chat so I would like to mute them for myself only. That way I can hear what they say in real life but not through the meeting. Others joining remotely in the meeting can hear my colleague via the meeting without issue.

Jitsi meet has this by default so it would be a matter of…

  8. Allow integration of interactive tools (e.g. Miro, Proton Docs, Sheets, Google Docs/Sheets, ...)

Many online meetings require people to collaborate on content: e.g. through whiteboard tools like Miro or texts/spreadsheets

  10. A way to send a private message during discussion

Adding the possibility of sending a " private" message to only one of the participants of a discussion (chat) would be very useful.

  12. Make meetings scheduled through booking pages feature show up in the proton meet dashboard overview of meetings

Can meetings that have been scheduled by other people in the appointments/booking pages please be added to show up in the ProtonMeet dashboard page?

Or at least meetings where the participants have accepted it...?

Currently the dashboard is only showing manually scheduled meetings.

  13. Restrict access to meeting rooms by proton user ID and add a chat-only feature

    Feature Requests for Proton Meet

Access-Controlled Meeting Rooms: Please add the ability to create meeting rooms with access controls that allow only specific Proton users to join. Currently, anyone with the meeting link can enter, which limits the ability to host private, invite-only sessions within a trusted group.
Contacts List: Please add a contact list where we can save the Proton users we interact with frequently from where we can choose which users can join a meeting. This would streamline the process of inviting participants and eliminate the need to manually send invites some other way.

  14. Would it be possible for you to offer a BAA agreement so that we can meet HIPAA compliance for Telehealth clients?

It would be great to use Proton Meet professionally as I already use Proton Mail. I offer Telehealth psychotherapy and would need to have a Business Associate Agreement to comply with HIPAA regulations. Does Proton offer a BAA?

  16. Provide Adjustable Restriction How Far In Advance Meetings May Be Scheduled

Currently using freebusy.io to allow my clients and prospects to schedule meetings with me. One helpful feature is that clients and prospects may not schedule any meeting with more than X days in advance (currently set to 30 days).

This feature benefits me personally by giving me more control of my availability, and benefits clients and prospects who mistakenly select the wrong month/year father in advance than what they intended.

    Thanks for considering this.

  17. Support for virtual microphones with third party apps such as Krisp to improve noise cancelling

This is the only reason why we haven't migrated from Zoom to Proton Meet yet. Even if noise cancelling exists and is good, third party apps can handle it much better.

  18. Need 90-120 minute meetings on free/lower cost tier for low numbers of participants

The 60 minute free tier is not sufficient, but the cost of the next tier is unreasonable for light use.
Could we get a plan (as an add-on to paid bundles (Duo/Family/etc) that allow for longer meeting times (90-120 minutes, perhaps capping the number of participants to only 2-5 people?)
Even $1/month or free add -on or current paid subscribers to other proton bundles would be a game changer.

Option to enable a room to have a permanent chat history (not ephemeral), so as to use Proton Meet more like Teams without having to enter in a call.

  20. Multiple Language Simultaneous Live Interpreting

As part of a network called Language for Justice we aim to bring decolonial language accessibility online and currently the only qualitative platform with this feature is Zoom. It would be great to be able to have possibility to invite multiple interpreters for different languages (not only from EU by the way). Great feature for Interpreters would be also interpreters being able to switch and listen to each other without interrupting each other (they usually work in pairs) and also the host and co-hosts being able to manage the settings to be of best support. If you ever need help…
