That would be a useful feature, especially for quickly calling a specific contact without going through a meeting room. Keeping the interface simple while adding direct calling would make the experience much more convenient. I’ve also come across EME Elevators and was impressed by what they offer. It is really tedious if you quickly want to meet with another person without calendar meeting/appointment.. you need to call them via phone or WhatsApp tell them, if they can quickly go into the room. Before you needed to save their proton link in proton pass to then copy it in the moment you want to talk to them and then finally start a meeting with them. I guess this is not how you easy and privately want to contact a person ;)

it seems that at the moment you can't call directly anyone, you need first to share a meeting link?
