I've used standard notes for years and was thrilled to see they had been incorporated by Proton. I assumed that eventually they would become "protonized" and show up with a consistent UI, but haven't seen an inkling of that. From the outside it seems like a no-brainer and would be a great add-on for proton drive because it would integrate note keeping with file keeping. and permit than within a single secure app.

I have folders into which the myriad not-quite-spam announcements, subscription distributions, etc are automatically sent. These have a relatively short lifespan during which they might be of interest and I'd like to be able to limit the length of time they remain in the folder with the ability to set an automatic delete when a message reaches that pioint (say 1-2 months). Is that possible?
Two years later... I have had to learn how to use sieve scripting to accomplish what it seems to me should be a default option on custom folders and labels: expiration of folder content or labelled item at some set interval after arrival. Now that I have some (rudimentary) grasp of sieve (requiring time I really don't have), I am even more convinced that adding this feature would be easily managed by the Proton Tech team. If there is a good reason not to offer it, would appreciate hearing what that is.
