    I have moved my business and personal emails to Protonmail because of their support for privacy. I'm beginning to think this was a mistake because of their dependence on google services (and seemingly their lack of interest in improving their existing products). Please implement proper android notifications without dependence on google services. If the company actually cares, here is a blurb on how to properly implement notifications on android https://grapheneos.org/faq#notifications
