    This is exactly what I want as well.

    The ability to add a reminder, be notified, then mark it done to archive but keep in calendar, just like Google calendar.

    Lack of this component is the only thing keeping me from being able to switch from Google calendar.

    I need to be able to add a reminder, get a notification, then mark it as done to archive (but keep in calendar) just like Google calendar.
