I think Proton has an uphill climb before I replace my current solution.

My current solution is Keepass and SyncThing to all my devices including my own Nextcloud server which is cloud-rented. Therefore it's available everywhere, including offline and in my encrypted backups to the another cloud. Keepass has notes, files, 2FA, URL and history.

Second, I only memorize three (3) passwords - Keepass, Nextcloud and PGP. That's it. I do not want to have my email and my vault under the same password. In an emergency (like all my devices lost in a fire), I can still access my Keepass online in my own Nextcloud server which is in the cloud.

Let's be honest, if a government really, really wanted to get me, none of the available encryptions are going to be strong enough. My system is as good as it needs to be for my nomadic lifestyle.
