This actually causes problems with apps like Steam. Since a lot of a save game data goes to the Documents\My Games folder, your cloud Steam save data and Proton Drive save data can get out of sync causing a Steam to hiccup when trying to sync your game data. I love the idea of being able to add things like .gitignore but also being able to list and uncheck subfolders to quickly add those specific folders would be really good. I don't want my Skyrim save game data to sync with proton, but custom files in a Documents\Skyrim folder should sync.

I would like to see this carried over to the family plans as well. I'm currently holding on to gsuite because I use this feature to manage important data between family members.
