Exactly the same here. First try with ramp from within the proton wallet with proton alias and proton VPN leads to a deleting of my ramp account after a few minutes. No explanation about the reason, very frustating. Second try with Banxa worked immediately. I really would think when corperating with partners, Proton should inform them that Proton customers will do that stuff via there own VPN and eventually aliases. Thats a shame.
