many critical feature requests (basic stuff Proton should have implemented from the start) have remained unanswered by Proton for years and years.
So seeing Proton is pretty much quiet and inactive here, we are all left with either dropping Proton or finding weird work-arounds.My work-around for snoozing for when I really need it is to forward the email to myself with a scheduled send date. No, not ideal, but better than nothing.

This is what proton email support replies:
---
We have received an answer from our team, and they say that snooze relies on the logical grouping of messages to function meaningfully and avoid confusion when resurfacing them later. Without conversation grouping, the snooze feature would be inconsistent or prone to errors.
---Seems to me like a bad design decision or an excuse to not have to fix the issue.
But it also tells me we have about 0% chance this will ever get fixed.
So we'll have to either deal with not being able to snooze mails, or move to another service. An error occurred while saving the comment

And proton support fails to give a reason for this weird design choice.
I have asked them in different forms to explain why it is how it is, but they just state that it is how it is, not the reason. An error occurred while saving the comment

I too don't understand why the conversation grouping should be a requirement. Seems so unrelated to the snooze functionality!

Why not simply make this customizable via a setting. Let the user select the interval. Probably anything in multiples of 5 minutes.
