Critical, and easy to do (just add to "Share" setting for individual items or for Vaults see apps like QR file transfer that can do rapid sharing using a "movie" of QR codes.
It's quite often the case that you only want to expose a handful of passwords (or just 1) on a device, but the data is random enough that it's a pain to type in. QR neatly merges this gap while a.) requiring no connectivity on the receiving side (no network connections to be attacked or tracked) b.) imposing strong visibility requirements around what can see the passwords (only devices with cameras in FOV, which is far better than wifi/internet constraints).
Secret share and offline file share is the killer app for QRs and Proton Pass is well-positioned to make this work (even if the scanning device doesn't have a Proton App installed, just the default QR scanner is enough to make it work in a hacky way).

A year later this is still helpful. Now we have global settings re: per-vault visibility but it really should be per extension/app settings, per vault (this pairs quite nicely with OS user profiles where you can expose one vault per user profile).
