    Apple TV apps often lag behind in features compared to Android TV. It’s surprising how things like split tunneling or protocol selection still aren’t standard. I came across this article recently — https://www.cogniteq.com/mobile-app-development they specialize in custom mobile and TV app development, and it gave me a better sense of what's actually possible on tvOS. Maybe worth a look if you're curious why the gap exists or thinking about a custom solution.
