    Improving Proton Mail and Calendar requires bridging the gap between high-level security and everyday usability. Key community requests for 2026 include integrated task management, offline access for mobile, and enhanced search capabilities within encrypted content. Adding a "real black" OLED dark mode and full-month widgets would also modernize the UI. Prioritizing these features ensures that privacy-conscious users don't have to sacrifice the fluid functionality found in mainstream alternatives.
