Duplicating an event is possible from the web app. Coming soon to other platforms.

I’m honestly shocked how Proton is handling the Calendar feature requests, especially something as basic as duplicating an event on Android.
This has been requested for years and even marked as “coming soon”, yet Android (and in many cases mobile in general) users still get nothing beyond promises. From a paying customer’s point of view this feels contemptuous: you happily advertise privacy and a “productivity suite”, but then you ignore highly upvoted, concrete usability requests that people rely on every single day.
Right now, new customers have no clear, honest way to see what the real state of Proton Calendar is: which long‑standing feature requests are stalled, which “soon” items have been “soon” for years, and how often Proton actually follows through. It would be far more transparent to provide an official public page that lists:
major requested features (like event duplication on Android),
their real status across platforms (Web / Android / iOS),
and realistic timelines or at least a clear “not planned” label.
At the moment it looks like: many promises, very slow delivery on basics, and almost no communication about why. For a company that asks users to trust them with their most private data, this kind of attitude toward feedback and support is frankly disappointing and feels petty and unprofessional.
Either deliver what you’ve been promising for years, or clearly state that you won’t – but stop pretending “coming soon” is an acceptable long‑term state.
