Duplicate event
Would be nice to have an option to duplicate an existing event with small changes.
Use case: irregularly recurring events that need to be scheduled one at a time(e.g. barber, massage, dentist visits)
Duplicating an event is possible from the web app. Coming soon to other platforms.

I’m honestly shocked how Proton is handling the Calendar feature requests, especially something as basic as duplicating an event on Android.
This has been requested for years and even marked as “coming soon”, yet Android (and in many cases mobile in general) users still get nothing beyond promises. From a paying customer’s point of view this feels contemptuous: you happily advertise privacy and a “productivity suite”, but then you ignore highly upvoted, concrete usability requests that people rely on every single day.
Right now, new customers have no clear, honest way to see what the real state of Proton Calendar is: which long‑standing feature requests are stalled, which “soon” items have been “soon” for years, and how often Proton actually follows through. It would be far more transparent to provide an official public page that lists:
major requested features (like event duplication on Android),
their real status across platforms (Web / Android / iOS),
and realistic timelines or at least a clear “not planned” label.
At the moment it looks like: many promises, very slow delivery on basics, and almost no communication about why. For a company that asks users to trust them with their most private data, this kind of attitude toward feedback and support is frankly disappointing and feels petty and unprofessional.
Either deliver what you’ve been promising for years, or clearly state that you won’t – but stop pretending “coming soon” is an acceptable long‑term state.

Curious if there's any updates on this feature?
Most of my calendar events are made duplicating a previous event, and I almost exclusively use the phone app.

Very important feature to quickly duplicate appointments that do not have a fixed recurrence and the next date is agreed at the end of the current appointment. Please bring it to your Android version of the Calendar app. Thank you

Do you already have a release date for this "duplicate" function for iOS ?

Only for an event of a Prton calendar. It seems not possible yet to copy/duplicate an event from an external calendar (displayed in Proton) to a Proton calendar?

Any updates to this? Appears. a response was made by Proton in 2024. Similar to Martin's comment, I follow the same workflow and also have several calendars I manage for work. This is a must.

Any update on this? I do not see it mentioned on any of the recent roadmaps, and it is listed as Started and "coming soon."
This is a feature I use constantly on web to manage various calendars sharing and blocking out long events that are not recurring, that last multiple days. I miss this every time I go to do it on android.

A year have passed and this feature is still not on mobile. It hasn't been mentioned on the roadmap either. Please include this feature on mobile, it will be a time saver.

@proton Jul 2024 you posted duplicating events was coming soon to other platforms. Can we have an update on when this is likely as this a feature I use on my mobile multiple times daily while out meaning I am so far unable to switch to your platform fully.

Is duplicating an event possible on the Android app? I am able to do it on the web, but not yet on Android.
