    Please. please, please do this. I've been a gmail user since beta - I have 10's of thousands of emails imported - a lot of these are 'unread' over maybe the last 6 months for a reason (I read them and mark as unread to stay at the top).

    It could be that I couldn't afford to up my insurance but need to do so once I can I will, it could be a dental reminder that I need to keep seeing to get myself into gear to actually do it. All manner of things really.

    I need to keep logging onto gmail purely because it shows all of those 'unreads' at the top.
