    Adding my voice to this thread because I think Proton needs to see how many of us are affected. I work as a journalist in a country with heavy internet restrictions, and Proton VPN's stealth protocol on Android has been a game-changer for my safety. But I do most of my research and writing on a Linux laptop, and without stealth support, I'm constantly exposed. I've tried every workaround — TLS tunnels, SSH forwarding, even setting up my own obfuscation proxy — but nothing works as seamlessly as Proton's native stealth implementation.     I've upvoted this and I'll keep upvoting every time I see it. The lack of stealth protocol on Linux is unacceptable for a premium VPN service. I understand that development resources are finite, but this feature has been requested for literal years. The workaround of using the OpenVPN configuration files with third-party clients is clunky and doesn't offer the same level of obfuscation. I've had to explain to my non-technical colleagues why they can't just use Proton VPN on their Linux machines the same way they do on Windows. It's embarrassing.     This is the one feature keeping me from recommending Proton VPN to my Linux-using friends. The stealth protocol is a killer feature for bypassing Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and other advanced blocking techniques. Without it, the Linux app is just another OpenVPN/Wireguard client. I travel frequently to places like China and Iran for work, and being able to use stealth mode on my phone is a lifesaver. But my laptop runs Linux, and I'm constantly having to find workarounds or rely on less secure methods. Proton, you're supposed to be the privacy leader.
